Quirky Campers are buzzing for you to peek inside our beautiful Bee, who has been recently upgraded even more, ready for the 2025 season! A haven of cosiness, Bee is the perfect getaway camper for two. Located in Warrington, Bee lives at a crossroads for great adventures. With the Peaks to the east, the Lakes to the North and Wales to the West, you won’t be short on options. Bee is prepared for everything you can think of, she may be little but she is fabulous, full to the brim with colour and character, she is a veritable honey pot of treasures.

The sofa converts into a lush double bed that lets your day flow easily into the night. Her furnishings are ‘rustique chique’, a unique handcrafted set of drawers inspired by the van’s interior, providing you with ample storage space for coats, games or food. Her double hob and beautiful sink is ready for you to create a delicious meal for two. Why not leave the side door open, pop on the fairy lights, and let the warm evening air waft in, as you sip a glass of vino and embrace those long summer nights?

Bee is so compact she can fly in and out of cities and the countryside with ease, allowing you busy bees to explore every type of terrain, before returning to your homely hive. She has air conditioning for the hot days and a heater for cool nights. Even on the rainiest days the inbuilt Alexa system and unlimited on-board Wifi are just the thing for the snuggliest movie night you’ll ever have. With her solar panels and electric hook ups you could go off grid or on site.

So, to Bee or not to Bee? It’s not even a question anymore is it?

About the Campervan

Description of Beds: Bee has a rear U-shaped sofa, the full width of the campervan which easily converts to a double bed. The mattress is high quality and super comfy to sleep on. The bed, when made up, is 140cm wide x 184cm (just over 6 feet) long. All rentals in Bee include freshly laundered bedding as standard. We can swap the double duvet for 2 sleeping bags if you prefer? Description of Seating: Bee’s modern cab area has 3 belted seats, all with headrests. The middle seat can be folded down if it’s just for 2. There is a large storage area under the 2 passenger seats accessed from the cab area. The cab also has lovely cold air con for those hot days! In the rear, the sofa can comfortably seat 4 around a beautiful wooden table. Description of Electrical Setup: Bee has been upgraded for 2025 with a brand new electrical system. She now has a massive 470ah lithium battery, connected to a 360w solar panel mounted on the roof rack. The system is also connected to a 50amp DC to DC charger so it’s also charged as you drive and a mains charger when on hook-up. There is a 2000w pure sine wave inverter powering the 230v plugs whilst still off-grid. This 12v battery system provides power to the MaxxFan ceiling extractor fan, the onboard wifi network, the lighting (4 main ceiling lights and separate fairy lights for a more cosy feel), the 12v compressor fridge, the ‘Alexa’, the sink pump, the diesel hob/heater unit and 4 usb ‘fast charge’ charging sockets on the kitchen unit. The system was designed to be self-sufficient (with some driving / solar recharging the system) which is great for going ‘off-grid’. The new huge battery provides more than enough power to last you on your trip without the need to provide campsite hook-up. If you do go on a campsite, there is an external hook up point on the side of the van providing 230v power, via a fuse box to 2 double UK 3 pin sockets each with 2 dedicated USB charging ports. A charger also automatically charges the leisure battery. About the area: Bee lives in Warrington, Cheshire and is stored in her own parking spot on the owners’ driveway in a quiet residential area. Warrington is a great location in the North West, being only 30 minutes from the bustling cities of Manchester and Liverpool, the historic Roman City of Chester or just over an hour to the Lake District, the Peak District and North Wales. Parking: If you drive to collect Bee, you are welcome to leave your car either on the driveway or on the road immediately outside at the head of the cul-de-sac. If you come by train, Bee's owners will be able to pick you up from Warrington West, Warrington Central or Warrington Bank Quay railway stations. Pick up’s from Manchester and Liverpool Airports are also possible for a fee, but please check before booking. Cooking Equipment: Bee has a fixed 2 ring hob in the kitchen area which is powered from the vehicles main diesel tank, so no more running out of gas or trying to find the right gas connection! There is also an 800w induction hob which can be used off-grid via the inverter. In addition Bee’s owners provide a Cadac gas barbeque with every rental if you prefer outside cooking! There is a full range of cooking equipment, pans, frying pan, cutlery, utensils, plates, bowls, mugs etc for you to cook up a storm! There is a kettle for the diesel/induction hobs. Bee has a collapsible washing up bowl, colander and mixing bowl. Washing up liquid, sponges, tea towels etc are provided. Water and Sanitation: In the kitchen there is a beautiful handmade sink with a copper pipe tap supplying drinking water from the 23 litre water tank in the boot via a 12v pump. A USB rechargeable outdoor shower and foldable bucket also included as standard. Fill the bucket with warm water from the kettle and enjoy a warm outdoor shower. As an add-on, the owners can provide a Shower/Toilet/Utility tent for next to the van to give extra privacy which takes seconds to put up/down. A portaloo is provided and is stored in it’s own cupboard. This can be used inside the van or within the available pop up shower/toilet tent as an added extra. Audio Equipment: In the main cab there is an Android Auto / Apple Car Play stereo unit and an ‘Alexa’ speaker in the living area connected to the complimentary ‘unlimited’ on-board wifi. Being unlimited, the wifi is also ideal to chill and binge watch that Netflix series you like :-) Type of Heating: Bee’s heating is provided by the professionally installed Wallas XC Duo diesel hob/heater. Simply turn on the hob with the lid down and with a quick turn of the dial, the built-in fan blows the warm air into the living area. The system is super efficient and uses next to no diesel or 12v power. When on electric hook up, Bee’s owners are also able to offer a small plug in oil filled radiator, for truly ‘silent’ heating or a plug in fan heater for ‘instant heat’. Bee comes with internal blinds for all rear windows and an external blackout cover for the windscreen. Extra Information: Bee was initially designed and crafted around a beautiful set of drawers the owners had which provided the quirky base for the kitchen unit. Bee has seen a few changes to bring her to what she is today and is continually being upgraded. At the end of 2023 the owners decided to strip Bee back to a bare van and fully re-build her giving her a beautiful and cute new look, whilst also improving everything from the insulation rating to a larger bed and new MaxxFan Deluxe ceiling fan. Bee is a short wheelbase Renault Master with windows giving stunning views all round. Whilst being a SWB, Bee is big inside, giving lots of space to just relax and enjoy your break. Even with the double bed set up, there is still full access to the kitchen area. Being a short wheelbase, Bee is super easy to drive and fits easily in most parking spaces. Bee can be driven on a standard B1 licence. Conversion Story: Bee’s owners have had several campervans over many years, after initially owning tents, folding campers and trailer tents. Rich and Nici never really found the perfect layout for them, from owning big LWB factory built units to a super small Mazda Bongo so decided to build their own! It took a few years before they found the perfect van for them. Since Bee, they have built lots more campervans and now run their own successful campervan conversion business! @HollysCampers Bee started life as a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle but was converted to a pet friendly campervan by the current owners in early 2020. Bee’s owners have done all of the work themselves via their own van conversion business. The whole family, including their dogs Gus and Snoopy, love the outdoors and they are so happy to be able to share that feeling with their customers through renting out Bee. Their love of campervans also led to them starting their own business building, selling and renting vans! Whilst they are super proud of Bee, Rich does still have a bit of a love affair with the Mazda Bongo and even has his last Bongo tattooed on his arm!

Absolutely brilliant weekend away in Karma. The van is perfect, with a cosy feel, log burner and comfy beds (we had the best sleep in ages!). Inès and Marcus were great at organising everything/information and were very accommodating to pick up and drop off despite traffic delaying us dropping it on. Would highly recommend! Thanks again
