With York as your starting point, the captivating landscapes of the Lake District, Wales or the Peak District are an easy few hours drive away. Description of Beds: HappyCamper is built for cosy escapes, romantic retreats and family adventures. Two can sleep in the spacious 1.83m x 1.20m bed which easily transforms from a dining nook into a haven of dreams. For laid-back evenings in, indulge in a cinematic experience with the big-screen projector. Description of Seating: HappyCamper has three belted seats in the front cabin (inclusive of the driver), complete with headrests for added comfort. Additionally, there's the option to include a child seat suitable for ages one to five, ensuring the safety and security of your little one. With room for 4 around the table, you can enjoy shared meals or unwind with a glass of wine. Description of Electrical Setup: HappyCamper offers versatile power options. You can hook-up by plugging into a 240 V power source at a campsite. Or embrace off-grid living with the roof-mounted solar panels and 12 V battery power supply. The gas system efficiently operates the shower, hot water tap, and hob, ensuring comfort and convenience wherever your adventures take you. Parking: If you opt to pick up HappyCamper by driving, you are welcome to park your car on the street for free. If you're arriving by train pick up can be arranged from York station, subject to availability and prior organisation. Cooking Equipment: HappyCamper comes with two gas hobs inside, and is fully equipped with all the essentials for preparing delicious meals. From mugs, bowls, plates, and cutlery to wine glasses, a chopping board, a kettle, frying pan, and a variety of saucepans, HappyCamper has you covered for culinary adventures on the road. Water and Sanitation: With a stay in HappyCamper you can enjoy the convenience of a fully enclosed hot shower and toilet. With gas heating, the water is efficiently warmed for the shower and hot water, while also cooling the fridge. A 70-litre water tank is also provided and filled with drinkable water for your peace of mind. Type of Heating: You will stay cosy and warm in HappyCamper with the efficient 5kw diesel heater. Audio Equipment: Pairing your phone with the van is a breeze via Bluetooth connectivity, and with a built-in satnav, navigation is a cinch. Enjoy your favourite tunes through the van's Bluetooth Blaupunkt speaker or opt for the projector's impressive sound quality for an immersive experience. Pet Information: HappyCamper is able to accommodate all furry companions including well-behaved dogs, cats, and even birds. About the Owner: I'm Jelle, (pronounced Yella) originally from the Netherlands my journey brought me to the UK via New Zealand, South Africa, and Japan. Around 12 years ago I began hosting guests in my home, and now I help visitors make the most of their stay through a handful of Airbnb properties scattered across York. For me, it felt like a natural step forward to share my home-on-wheels and Quirky Camper’s ethos fitted right in.
