Polar Bear is a wooden-clad cosy campervan, located on the cusp of the Cotswolds. It’s the perfect home-away-from-home for exploration of all the idyllic fairy tale villages and charming countryside that this area has to offer. Two full size double beds mean everyone gets to sleep in comfort, there’s a spacious kitchen area for family dinners, and a full table for sitting down to eat, or playing games at the end of a day’s adventuring.
Polar Bear’s spacious and light interior offers a warm welcome no matter what time of year you’re travelling, it's also pet friendly, so you don’t have to worry about leaving furry friends behind. The off-grid capabilities of Polar Bear mean that even when you’re heading off the beaten track, you’ll still have access to all your modern technology. There’s even a TV for rainy evenings so the whole family can cosy up and have a movie night under the stars!

About the Campervan
About the area: Polar Bear is located in Nailsworth, not far from Stroud and is parked on a quiet residential street. Nailsworth and the surrounding area is famous for deep wooded valleys, beautiful Cotswold villages, a lively arts scene, and quaint markets.
Description of Beds: Polar Bear sleeps up to four people in two double bunk beds. Each double bunk is 182 cm long. Please note that each bunk has limited head height.
Description of Seating: Polar Bear has three belted seats up front (including driver) with headrests and two further belted seats in the back.
Description of Electrical Setup: Polar Bear is the ultimate off grid camper. It is powered by a roof mounted solar panel which charges two large leisure batteries. These are also topped up when you drive. Polar Bear is equipped with 4 USB charging points as well as 4 12v sockets. The van has zoned LED lighting throughout as well as fairy lights and lanterns.
Parking: If you drive to collect Polar Bear you are welcome to leave your car in her normal spot. If you come by train, Polar Bears owners will be happy to pick you up from Stroud rail station subject to availability and prior arrangement.
Cooking Equipment: Polar Bear comes equipped with everything you need for cooking on your adventure. Including a large worktop with two burner hobs and sink. In the cupboards beneath you will find pots, pans, kettle, cups, glasses and cutlery as well as washing up essentials.
Water and Sanitation: Polar Bear comes equipped with 2 15l water tanks which are pumped to the sink. Waste water is drained to the outside of the van where it is stored in a waste water container.
Audio Equipment: Polar Bear has a pioneer head unit and is equipped with USB charger/AUX Input and Bluetooth.
Pet Information: Polar Bear is ‘well behaved’ pet friendly.
Extra Information: Polar Bears interior is calm and comfortable. She is the perfect camper for the whole family.
About the Owner: Polar Bear is our third camper – they keep getting bigger and bigger as our family grows. We built her for big trips as well as small. We wanted a van where everything was set up and ready to go so we could hit the road without too much planning.

Note: Campervan Hire prices are per 24 hours. The default pick up and drop off time is 2pm. If you request a pick up or drop off outside of this, the owner will quote you for the additional time. Typically this is £12.50 per additional hour.

The Polar Bear went above and beyond our expectations! So much to love about this delightfully inviting campervan.
- The lights inside against the warm wood work made for a comfy atmosphere.
- The bunk beds were SUPER comfortable with plenty of room.
- Storage space was never an issue with plenty of room for our belongings and suitcases as our family never seems to pack light lol.
- The TV was a nice touch which we were able to "cast" to using our Google Pixel so Disney Plus and Netflix were at our fingertips at night!
- Dan and Chloe were more than accommodating, making our trip even more an enjoyable experience.
- The Bluetooth sound system was easy to connect to giving us our road jams.
- The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cutlery AND both the water and propane came fully prepped with 2 jugs/tanks.
- Dan and Chloe's kids even added some of their own "homey touches" as well with some fun handmade drawings and beadwork in the van, creating even more character to their proclaimed "Polar Bear"!
Such a lovely, memorable experience for the whole family, cannot recommend enough; thank you for sharing!!
