Description of Beds: Scandi sleeps two adults and a small infant on a foam bed. The bed measuring 160cm x 150cm (diagonally 220cm) is easily converted into a dining area thanks to our super user-friendly gas-sprung pedestal. Description of Seating: Scandi has three belted seats in the front (including the driver) all with headrests. When the dining table is set up, it comfortably fits 6 people, perfect for campervan dinner parties. 
 Description of Electrical Setup: Scandi has the option to run via a 240v hook-up at campsites or purely from the leisure batteries for those who like to stay on the wild side. The 2x 110ah leisure batteries are set up using a 2-way charging system drawing charge from the vehicle alternator when driving and via a 350w solar panel which is mounted onto the roof of the camper. The living space has 4x 5a USB charging points which can be used for charging phones, cameras and the handy optional projector. There are 3 different lighting setups; regular spotlights, under cabinet LED striplights and a USB rechargeable battery run magnetic-touch night light. About the area: Scandi lives in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Yorkshire's diverse terrain is an adventure-seekers haven. The trails meander through lush forests, rugged moors, and tranquil lakeside vistas. Whether you’re hiking along the famed Pennine Way, cycling through picturesque valleys, or conquering the crags of Malham Cove, the region offers boundless opportunities for outdoor exploration, making it the perfect spot to start your adventure! Parking: If you drive to collect Scandi, you are welcome to leave your car for free right outside Scandi's house (private drive parking). If you come by train, Scandi's owners will be able to pick you up for free from Shepley train station, or for a small fee from Huddersfield or Leeds, subject to prior arrangement and availability. Cooking Equipment: Scandi offers a two-burner gas hob inside and has everything you need to cook up a feast. Including; plates, bowls, cutlery for four, two mugs, four large tumblers, two chopping boards, stove-top kettle, large and small frying pan, regular sized saucepan with a lid, three chef knives and various cooking utensils. There is also a washing up bowl, lift-up table for clean/dirty dishes, a small dustpan and brush and plenty of cleaning products. Water and Sanitation: Scandi has a 30-litre fresh water tank and a 10-litre hot water tank. Plus a separate 20-litre water tank for drinking water. The fresh water tank, which feeds the kitchen sink, is for dishes and showering. It is stored underneath the van and is filled from a water inlet point on the outside of the van. The water from here goes into the combi boiler where 10 litres of hot water can be stored. The shower hose comes from the kitchen sink and extends outside the van side door. The drinking water tank is stored within the van so there is no chance of it freezing and you will always have access to water. This tank is removable and is filled manually. Wastewater is collected into the 30-litre grey water tank that is stored underneath the van. This is easy to empty into an appropriate disposal point via the draining tap. There is an optional portable toilet available which is stored underneath the sink. Audio Equipment: In Scandi’s cab there is a radio, CD player and bluetooth. In the main living space, there is an optional portable bluetooth speaker. For movie buffs, there is an optional Projector, perfect for relaxing nights in. The projector is connected via Hdmi or personal hotspot from your phone, allowing you to play files from your laptop or streamed services like Netflix. Type of Heating: Scandi heats up within a couple of minutes via the combi boiler system which runs on LPG gas and disperses warm air via two heating ducts. This super efficient system (and well-insulated van) means that you’ll stay warm even during those cold winter nights. Extra Information: Life inside and outside the van is sweet with Scandi. The large awning extends the living space outside and means you can shade from the sun or hide from the rain when you need to. Enjoy the outdoor lifestyle with the optional camping table and chairs. Pet Information: Scandi is a dog-friendly van; however if your dog sheds please make sure they are freshly cut before your adventure. Conversion Story: Originally a contractor's van, Scandi was bought by Steve and Claire as a winter project to keep them entertained during lockdown 1.0. Their idea was to create a campervan that could take them (and their doggies) on limitless adventures both in the summer and the winter, and they have done exactly that. They then sold their family-friendly van to Ella and Oliver to create more memories for Scandi and enjoy the outdoorsy fun! Warning: The payload of this vehicle is 340kg. This is below the Quirky Campers recommended payload of 370 kg for a vehicle with 3 belted seats. Drivers need to be aware that the total weight of driver, passengers and baggage must be below 340 kg to keep the vehicle within its legal Max Allowed Mass (MAM) of 3500kg
