About the area: Tiree is available to hire from Edinburgh, Scotland's beautiful capital. The ideal location to collect and explore the Scottish Islands, Highlands and NC500. Or, stay local to Edinburgh; head down to the beautiful borders or explore the East Lothian Coast. A trip in Tiree will give you the perfect base to appreciate the natural beauty Scotland has to offer! Description of Beds: Tiree can sleep 2 guests, and your furry pets too! There is a large double bed that converts from the spacious seating area. Description of Seating: Tiree has 2 belted seats in the cabin. Plus an airy seating area that can fit up to 4 people comfortably to allow you to entertain inside on those chillier nights. Any travel equipment for children must be provided by guests. Description of Electrical Setup: Tiree is powered by solar panels and an inverter when you're off-grid and off the beaten track. We also have the option of an electric hook-up to boost your power supplies if you’re at a campsite. Parking: The postcode will be shared after booking so you can arrange nearby parking if you’re arriving by car. Alternatively, you can park at our yard for an additional fee—just select this option when booking. Cooking Equipment: The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, pots/pans, plates/bowls, cutlery and utensils, mugs, cups. Tiree offers an array of cooking spices, tea/coffee and eco-friendly cleaning equipment. There are no gas facilities. Water and Sanitation: Tiree’s gorgeous waterfall shower is exactly what you need after a long hike or a day soaking up the sun! With eco-friendly body and hair products included, you’re in for a spa-like experience. There’s also an outdoor shower pipe for rinsing off muddy boots or paws. The water system can be heated using the inverter, and full instructions are provided upon booking. A compact toilet is available as an optional extra, neatly stowed in a cubby inside the shower cubicle—easy to access and simple to empty. Audio Equipment: Want movie nights under the stars? Rum offers a flat-screen projector as an optional extra, which sets up easily with magnets for that cozy cinema vibe wherever you park up. Type of Heating: Tiree is equipped with diesel heating and can also provide electric heating when plugged into an EV source. Pet Information: We’d love for you to bring your furry friend along on your adventure! Pets are welcome for an additional fee—just add it when booking or let us know before check-in to confirm arrangements.
