About the area: Wout is located in Burley in Wharfedale, a quiet village between Ilkley and Otley and the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. The centre of the Lake District is an easy 90 minutes away, and the Peak District and Northumberland are both within a 2 hour drive, so there are endless opportunities to explore. Description of Beds: Wout sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed with a deep mattress. The bed can be pushed away during the day giving access to the seating area, and takes 30 seconds to pull out when you are ready for bed. Description of Seating: Wout has three belted seats in the front including the driver. Description of Electrical Setup: Wout is set up for both on and off grid travel. For going off-grid it has solar panels on the roof and an inverter. There is also a 16A connection cable for hook-up. There are 2 plug sockets, USB sockets at the head of the bed, in the seating area and USB and USB C sockets in the cab. Parking: If you drive to hire Wout you are welcome to park your car at the rear of our house, where the van is usually parked. The nearest train station in Burley in Wharfedale, a 7 minute walk. Cooking Equipment: Wout has 2 gas hobs inside. Wout is all set for cooking feasts including camping mugs, 4 drinking cups, and 4 dining plates, 4 bowls, cutlery for 4, a chopping board, kettle, frying pan, large saucepan, cooking utensils, sharp knives, tin opener, corkscrew, bottle opener, camping cafetière, sink and washing up equipment. Water and Sanitation: There is a 58-litre water tank in Wout that supplies water to the sink via a pump. Hot water is heated by the Truma D6E combi heater (uses diesel directly from the vans main tank). The toilet is a removable thetford stored discreetly in the main living area. Audio Equipment: Both USB plug-in and bluetooth are both available so you can play your own music Type of Heating: The Truma D6E combi heater provides instant heating and uses diesel directly from the vans main tank. Pet Information: We welcome one well behaved dog to enjoy adventures in Wout. We can provide a front seat cover and just ask that dogs are kept off the bed and seating area. Conversion Story: Wout is a self conversion and we hope you love him as much as we do! Extra Information: There is Apple car play and Android Auto - aftermarket upgrade to stereo so you can enjoy using Spotify etc while you drive, along with sat nav.
