About the area: Flo lives in the bustling student city of Portsmouth. Parked on a quiet residential street, she's waiting for her next adventure. She lives a few short minutes from the South Downs and several National trust parks. With Brighton, Bournemouth and London less than an hour away, she's perfectly situated! There are several well known surf breaks within an hour's drive and the famous Thorpe Park is also less than an hour away. Description of Beds: Flo has a 6ft bed custom made with a 10" deep memory foam mattress! Comfort has not been sacrificed! She can comfortably sleep 2 persons and there's room in the walkway to place a cot/child's bed if required. Description of Seating: There are 3 belted seats in the front, 2 of which turn inside the van for a seating area. Description of Electrical Setup: There's 2 3pin mains plugs and 2 USB slots inside the van. There's an electrical output on the outside of the van, so it can be plugged in at electric hook up sites. There's a solar panel on top so Flo can go off grid Parking: There is free parking for the hirer where Flo is normally parked. This is outside the owner's house where the owner can keep an eye on your vehicle. Cooking Equipment: In addition to two gas hobs there is also a gas oven. Flo has everything you could need to cook up a feast, with 2 mugs, 2 cups, 2 large plates, and 2 bowls. There's is more than enough cutlery and utensils, several chopping boards at well as a kettle, frying pan, and a small and large saucepan Water and Sanitation: Florence has hot and cold water running to both the 'kitchen' sink and also the sink above the toilet. There is a fixed toilet inside the van in its own enclosure. Audio Equipment: Florence has a factory fitted radio as well as an aux lead for Android and Apple, so you can play your own music. There is also a reversing camera with a USB slot to charge your phone. Florence doesn't have a satnav because after multiple trips, we found Google maps from our phones was way better! So there's a universal phone holder to use Google maps! Type of Heating: Florence has a portable electric heater in the van to keep you warm at night! It plugs straight into the mains. Pet Information: Florence loves dogs! We do not restrict the number of dogs, if you can fit them they can stay! A full inside clean would be required before drop off, but otherwise, your furry friends are welcome to enjoy! Conversion Story: Florence has had a crazy journey! She was self converted 5 years ago and has mostly been used on trips back and forth to Ukraine delivering humanitarian aid. After travelling through some very dicey areas, she needed to have 2 red crosses painted on the side, for her own safety and that of her passengers, to avoid air strikes. She's been a true hero, hence Flo after the incredible Florence Nightingale. Extra Information: You'll find a genuine grenade pin found in Ukraine on Florence's keyring, as a nod to her former life. Florence comes with a set of board games, a badminton set and a set of bowls. Florence is cosy, she doesn't pretend to be anything she's not, she's here for adventures not the catwalk. You're guaranteed a great time in a van full of history and charm. She's certainly a talking point.
