Description of Beds: Jo Boxer has two small double beds (120cm wide), ideal for two adults plus one child. All bedding will be supplied, along with 2 small towels. Description of Seating: Three belted seats in the front (including driver) with head rests and pull-down armrests. About the area: Jo Boxer lives in Walmer, Kent. It's a great location for the south coast and also only 6 miles from Dover if you want to pop over to France on the ferry. Alternatively, you could catch the Euro Tunnel from Ashford which is 23 miles away. Parking: If you drive to collect Jo Boxer, there is free roadside parking available. If you arrive by train (Deal is on the high-speed line from London St Pancras or Victoria), her owners can meet you in the train station car park for the handover. Cooking Equipment: In addition to the three ring gas hobs, oven, grill, microwave, fridge and kettle, Jo Boxer has a fully equipped kitchen with cutlery and crockery for 3, as well as saucepans | frying pan | tin opener | garlic crusher | wooden spoons | scissors and sharp knives. Also supplied are bin liners | washing up liquid | sponges | tea towels and kitchen roll. Condiments and spices are also included to save you having to buy them. Water Facilities: There are 3 water containers in a cupboard under the microwave which total 40 litres. A further 10-litre collapsible container can be found in the underbed storage. A portable loo tucks away nicely under one of the build-in seats. Audio Equipment: There is a CD/radio in the driver's cab and a wireless speaker in the living area. Type of Heating: A fuel-efficient diesel heater will keep you toasty all night, and all season round! There is also a plug-in fan heater which you can use if you have an electric hook up. Conversion Story: Jo Boxer used to be a trade person's van. Her owners bought her in 2019 as a project and hired the fantastic conversion company Lakeland Conversions based in Kendal in Cumbria. Their amazing joiner Josh built all the interior units by hand. They are made of birch play and have been lacquered with clear, protective wax.
