Or, you could stay closer to Edinburgh, heading south to the beautiful Borders or exploring the charming East Lothian Coast. A trip in Harris will provide the perfect base to enjoy Scotland’s breathtaking natural beauty! Description of Beds: Harris can sleep 2 guests—and your furry pets too! There’s a large double bed that easily converts from the spacious seating area. Description of Seating: Harris has 2 belted seats in the cabin, plus a spacious and airy seating area that can comfortably fit up to 6 people. Perfect for entertaining inside on chillier nights! Please note that any travel equipment for children must be provided by guests. Description of Electrical Setup: Harris is equipped with solar panels and an inverter, making it ideal for off-grid adventures. If you’re at a campsite, there’s an electric hook-up option to boost your power supplies. Parking: There is no dedicated parking spot available for collection. Upon booking, you’ll receive the postcode to arrange nearby parking if arriving by car. Cooking Equipment: The fully-equipped kitchen in Harris features an induction hob, pots and pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs, and cups. A selection of cooking spices, tea/coffee, and eco-friendly cleaning products are also provided. Please note, there are no gas facilities. Water and Sanitation: Harris’s luxurious waterfall shower is just what you need after a long day of hiking or relaxing in the sunshine. Eco-friendly body and hair products are included for a spa-like experience. An outdoor shower pipe is also available for rinsing off muddy boots or paws. The water system can be heated using the inverter, with full instructions provided upon booking. The hidden toilet is neatly stowed away in a cubby inside the shower cubicle and is easy to empty as needed. Audio Equipment: Harris features a flat-screen projector that can be easily installed with magnets. Kick back and enjoy a cosy movie night under the stars. Type of Heating: Harris is equipped with diesel heating and can also provide electric heating when plugged into an EV source.
