Autumn

About the area: Autumn lives in the quiet village of Rowlands Castle, close to the beautiful countryside of the South Downs National Park. Here you are within a short driving distance to many picturesque locations such as Emsworth, Chichester, Hayling Island, East Meon, Portsmouth and a little further on, The New Forest. Description of Beds: Autumn sleeps up to two adults and one younger child. She has one fixed bed at the back measuring 179cm x 69cm and a pull-down bed on the side which measures 179cm x 68cm. Both have custom-made, thick comfortable memory foam mattresses with the rear being 200mm thick and the side being 150mm thick. There is also space for a small child to sleep in the bulkhead which has been converted with a padded base to sleep on and a ladder to climb up to. For safety this is for children aged 5+. Alternatively, if one adult is taking 2 children away then the children can top and tail in the larger side bed. Description of Seating: Autumn has 3 belted seats in the front (including the driver) with headrests. There are 2 children’s booster seats available if needed. In the back, there is a pull-down table for two with wall-mounted dining chairs to save space when not in use. The rear bed is set up as a day bed which can also be used to sit on. Description of Electrical Setup: Autumn can be used completely off-grid as she is powered by solar panels. There is also the option to hook her up to mains at a campsite. If she is running low on the battery monitor, there is a DC-DC charger that can be switched on that will also recharge the battery when driving. She also comes with a fridge and TV, 2 x 175w Victron solar panels, Victron DC-DC charger, Victron Mttp charge controller, Victron AC-DC charger, 2000w Renogy inverter, 2 x 100ah Renogy Lithium Ion batteries, a Maxxair fan, 2 x double usb sockets (usb-c fast charge included), a JKF50 50L 12v fridge, 240v Double socket (runs off inverter), 240v Double socket (runs off mains power), 2 x swivel lights, 3 x spotlights (one in shower), 1 x kitchen light strip, 5 x floor level spotlights and 2 x carbon monoxide detectors. Parking: You are welcome to park your car on the driveway for the duration of your hire, alternatively there is some parking on the road at the end of the driveway. Cooking Equipment: Autumn is fully equipped to help make your trip with her as homely and hassle free as possible. She comes with a two-burner hob and a large electric cooking pan and all the comforts you would normally be used to in the kitchen, including; 3 wooden dining plates, 3 wooden small plates, 3 gold stainless steel bowls, 3 gold cutlery sets, 1 gold cork screw, 1 gold bottle opener, 4 wooden utensils, 3 glass mugs, 2 ceramic large mugs, 1 wooden serving platter, 1 large wooden bowl, 2 saucepans, 2 frying pans, 1 gold colander, 1 lighter, and a stove kettle. Water and Sanitation: Autumn has a full-sized indoor shower, however this runs cold water only. There is a portable toilet that is on a runner inside a cupboard, this can be fully taken out and put in the shower cubicle for privacy. There is also a separate drinking water pump and tap at the sink and a 75L fresh water tank. Water can be heated in the stove kettle on the gas hob. Audio Equipment: Autumn is fitted with a small TV. Type of Heating: Autumn has a diesel heater to keep you warm. Pet Information: Autumn is happy to have pets stay in her, as long as they don’t sleep on the beds, please bring a pet bed for the floor space! Conversion Story: Autumn has been rehomed after being lovingly converted by her previous owner. She was originally a charities’ van and only used for short trips, keeping her mileage low. Autumn has been transformed into a beautiful Treehouse on wheels, with such attention to detail that you will spot something new on every day of your stay in her. About the Owner: It’s been a lifetime dream of mine to own a camper van, one that I didn’t think would ever happen. As a single mum to my two small children, I have invested in our future and our happiness by bringing Autumn into our family. She is perfect for the three of us and we cherish our adventures in her so much. There were so many lovely camper vans to choose from on Quirky, but Autumn stole our hearts with her childhood treehouse charm! Extra Information: Autumn is set up with sound deadening throughout, Thermafleece sheep’s wool insulation, pine wood wall and ceiling cladding, a huge over-cab storage/child sleeping area, 4 clothes shelves, 2 overhead kitchen storage spaces, large under kitchen unit storage, 3 small storage cupboards, over bed net storage, a collapsible dinner table and chairs, a manual rear roof vent, full length mirror, tool and shoe storage in garage space, window covers and insulation blocks and a fire extinguisher.
