About the area: Roman lives in Frome, an area of artistic vibes, independent markets and galleries set in the rolling hills of the Mendip countryside. There are plenty of nearby attractions including the historic city of Bath, Longleat Safari Park or Cheddar Gorge. For a longer journey head to the Jurassic Coast, the Cotswolds or the wild beauty of Dartmoor. You could head west to the rugged coastlines of Devon and Cornwall, explore the dramatic landscapes of Wales' Snowdonia or Brecon Beacons, or journey north to Lake District. If you are feeling adventurous, Roman would be perfect for exploring the North Coast 500. Description of Beds: Roman can sleep up 5 people; The IKamper roof tent is 227cm by 175cm and is designed to sleep 3/4 people. Roman also comes fully equipped with a Quechua black out pop-up 2 person tent. the sleeping area in this tent is 210cm x 120cm. Description of Seating: The truck itself is a 5 seater as standard, the drivers and passenger seats are heated and fully electric. The truck has two isofix fittings. If only two or three are travelling you can utilise the remaining seats as extra storage space. Description of Electrical Setup: The truck is fully off-grid with no shore power hook-up point. The 170 ah lithium battery is charged via the 130 watt solar panel located on top of the cab. The battery powers the draw style compressor fridge, twin USB charge points, cigarette lighter style charge point and the LED lighting strips around the van. You also have the option to take an additional mobile solar panel to increase the solar array by an extra 100 watts for faster charging. Parking: When you arrive to take Roman on your adventures, you can drive off feeling happy that your vehicle will be stored safely on our driveway. Cooking Equipment: Roman is equipped with a fixed gas powered-two ringed stove, a single gas camping stove, 5 cups, plates, bowls, cutlery, a kettle, a saucepan and a frying pan. There is also two interchangeable griddle plates for the stove. Water and Sanitation: Roman has an external hot shower with a pop up shower tent, using an instant hot water heater with 50 litres of fresh water. The sink has a 5 litre fresh water tank and a 5 litre waste water tank. Audio Equipment: Roman has the manufacturers CD/bluetooth head unit and speakers in the cab. Type of Heating: No heating Pet Information: The truck is pet-friendly, however we would ask that no pets are in the roof tent.
