With endless outdoor adventures right on your doorstep, all that’s left to do is pack your bags and hit the road!
Inside, there’s plenty of space for three adults to stretch out and relax after a day of exploring. The clever layout means no awkward squeezing - just a comfy, airy setup with loads of natural light and a cosy sleeping space to recharge for another day of adventure. And don’t worry about those chilly Highland nights - the heating system’s got you covered, so you’ll stay toasty no matter the weather.

About the Campervan

About the area: Heather the campervan is located in the Cairngorms National Park in a little village called Cromdale, just a 10-minute drive from Grantown-on-Spey or a 20-minute drive from Aviemore. Description of Beds: Heather has one main double bed (Fixed Set up) measuring 145 cm wide by 186 cm long. Plus an extra bed that converts from the seats and dining area, measuring 70 cm wide by 185 cm long Description of Seating: Heather has three belted seats in the front (including driver) with headrests. A car seat can be provided for Stages 0+/1/2 as extra (Joie Stages 0+/1/2 in coal). Seats are not isofix compatible. Description of Electrical Setup: Heather comes equipped with a 220Ah leisure battery, 200w solar panel, and high-end Ctek 12v charging device (Mppt solar, fast charge from alternator/split charge, charges both leisure and service battery).
There is a 300W 240V pure sinewave inverter which can charge laptops and e-bikes.
As well as a 240V Shore hookup for use at campsites. There are 5x USB charge locations conveniently distributed around the van (9 USB sockets), 2x 3 pin plugs in the main cabin, one connects to the battery, one connects to the shore power plus one 1x 3 pin plug in the garage to charge e-bikes. Parking: You are more than welcome to park in Heather's spot which is on our driveway. Cooking Equipment: Heather has a twp burner gas stove burner and dometic chest style compressor fridge (can also be set to a freezer). Cooking equipment consists of pot with lid, saucepan and frying pan. Various cooking utensils, kettle, chopping board 3 sets of falcon enamelware tumble, bowls and deep plates along with 3 sets of mountain inspired enamelled mugs. Cutlery for 3 Water and Sanitation: Heather has a 60L cold water tank with an electric pump thats operated by the foot switch to save water and a 32L grey water tank with both water level indicators. The 60L tank is situated under the single seat next to kitchen area and can be refilled via the water hose. A 32L wastewater tank is in the underslung. Trobolo compost toilet can be provided as extra. Audio Equipment: Heather has a Bluetooth anker speaker in the living area. You can connect via USB/bluetooth on the radio system. Type of Heating: Diesel heater plumbed into the main diesel tank. Pet Information: Currently, we do not allow pets. Conversion Story: Heather was lovingly transformed by her previous owners, who spent years perfecting her for adventure-filled escapes, from scaling mountains to biking rugged trails. They crafted her interior with sustainable Swedish birch ply, showcasing intricate end-grain detailing and gracefully curved woodwork. The oak veneer ceiling adds a touch of warmth, while the walnut laminate flooring complements her airy, bright atmosphere, making her as inviting as she is functional—built to carry her passengers on unforgettable journeys in style and comfort. We recently became the proud owners of Heather, excited to embark on unforgettable adventures with our little one. She’s more than just a campervan—she’s our gateway to creating cherished memories and exploring the world together. As we set off on new journeys, we hope Heather’s story continues to inspire, and we look forward to sharing her beauty and craftsmanship with like-minded adventurers who appreciate the blend of thoughtful design and a love for the outdoors. Extra Information: Loads of storage throughout. Adventure van featuring the ability to charge e-bikes. Highlights natural and sustainable materials and products used within the van and throughout the build. Key Landmarks and Attractions in the Cairngorms: Cairngorm Mountain (45 minutes) One of the most famous peaks in Scotland, offering skiing in winter, hiking year-round and a mountain biking trail in the summer.

Loch Morlich (35 minutes)
A beautiful freshwater loch surrounded by forest, with a sandy beach at its shore.
Popular for water sports like kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and wild swimming.

An Lochan Uaine/The Green Loch (35 minutes)
Near Loch Morlich, it’s ideal for walking, cycling, and wildlife spotting.
The forest is home to red squirrels, pine martens, and capercaillies.

Rothiemurchus Estate (30 minutes)
Home to Loch An Eileen, a picturesque freshwater loch with a ruined castle on an island. Nice path for cycling/walking round the path.
A large estate with various outdoor activities to offer. Well marked biking trails.

Highland Wildlife Park (near Kingussie) (35 minutes)
A safari park with native Scottish wildlife, including wolves, wildcats, and red deer, alongside endangered species like the polar bears and snow leopard.

Landmark Adventure Park (20 minutes)
Popular family-friendly attraction located in Carrbridge, near Aviemore in the Cairngorms. It offers a variety of outdoor activities and experiences, including tree-top trails, a high ropes course, waterslides, and a climbing wall. The park also features a maze, a butterfly house, and the iconic Fire Tower for panoramic views of the surrounding forest. It’s a great destination for adventure, nature, and fun for all ages.

Balmoral Castle (60 mins)

The grounds and gardens are open to the public from April to July.

Located about an hour and a half north of Aviemore, it has lovely gardens and extensive grounds to explore.

Crathes Castle:
Near Banchory, east of the Cairngorms, with beautiful gardens and ancient woodland.

Falls of Bruar: A picturesque waterfall walk near Blair Atholl, just south of the Cairngorms.
