THE MECHANICS

Baloo is a Peugeot Boxer with the ultra reliable 2.2L chain driven engine, at 108k miles he is only getting started on his adventures!

Baloo will come with a 6 months MOT and full service completed in (09/22) ready for his new owner. He’s also just had a set of fresh MSW alloy wheels with BF Goodrich all terrain tyres, along with the rear ladder & exterior decals, he looks fresh and awesome.

THE CAMPER BUILD

This van has been freshly converted to a very high spec & standard by the team at Northern Conversions. Baloo was designed with functionality and top end luxury, along with a rugged exterior to suit any adventurer.

Each campervan Northern Conversions build is bespoke and hand crafted, every part of the conversions (apart from upholstery) is completed in house by their team of Campervan Craftsmen – from fitting Windows, bed pods, diesel heaters, gas and full electrical systems to all of the interior cabinetry. Baloo is no exception to this.
The idea was to be able to belt and sleep 3/4 (plus dog!), have everything underslung to maximise space and make an “all singing, all dancing” camper with massive solar quantity, hot water, internal shower whilst really standing out from the crowd. You won’t see any shop bought kitchen units, reused door cards or fully carpeted walls in this conversion. It’s simply beautiful.

Kitchen:

Baloo has a hand built kitchen, built with an exposed Birch ply edge and beautiful black doors. The worktop is solid walnut, treated with Osmo oil which gives it an amazing look, with an extendable worktop, which neatly folds away to save space.

The large garage situated at the back of the van under the main bed houses the fully off-grid electric set up, with 3 options to charge the van, (split charge while driving, solar power or electric hook up) plus an external shower in the garage area for washing off the sand after a day at the beach, washing the dog or having a shower in the wild!

The garage also stores the Bobil water heater, which allows water to be heated from either the Autoterm diesel heater or 240v whilst on hookup.

Baloo also benefits from a f45S awing, extending the space of the van to the outside, perfect for those morning coffee’s.
