Nestled into a meander of the River Lyvennet and surrounded by woodland, this idyllic hay meadow is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Visitors can enjoy listening to the birdsong and the ripples of the river.
Situated between two National Parks – the Lake District and Westmorland Dales – this location offers great walking without the crowds. Alternatively, brave a morning wild paddle in the river to really feel refreshed! Fresh milk is available from the farm, while the village pub is only a short walk away.
Access is down a private stone farm track, to park on grass. A footpath runs through the meadow to the village, which is used regularly – if you would prefer somewhere more private, please let the owner know and they can arrange another location on the farm.
