It’s very well designed – like a tardis. I’ve cooked a fry-up for 7 adults in this van and had them all round the table to eat it!
These vans are very quirky and very rare. I believe they only ever made 1800 of them.
Extremely cute – Lots of people smile and wave at you when you’re driving round!

What’s not great about it (mostly age related):
It’s an old vehicle with old technology – No electric windows or central locking etc.
No power steering but it’s a tiny, light van and it turns on a sixpence so it isn’t needed.
Small engine so it doesn’t go very fast but it can maintain a steady 60 mph if on the straight and flat.
There are some small patches of rust on the bodywork.
The furnishings and decor in the living and kitchen areas are showing their age.
There’s a small, cloudy chip on the windscreen that’s been there as long as we’ve had it (8 years) but it hasn’t changed. I showed it to an Autoglass technician a long time ago who said he couldn’t repair it. It’s about (or less than) the size of a penny. It hasn’t changed and has never affected the MOT.
The driver and passenger seats are a little tatty.

None of these ‘negatives’ are a barrier to the enjoyment of time away! It’s a super-cosy, well designed van that is tiny and perfectly formed. She’s an old lady so she is starting to show her age. The van has wanted for nothing mechanically and has been maintained by the same mechanic for all that time. For servicing, it has never required much more than the usual consumables and it nearly always sails through its MoT test. We have most of the service history from since we’ve owned it. We’ve used this cute and adorable little van regularly for the past 8 years, we’ve enjoyed every minute and we love it to bits. We’re only selling it because we need a vehicle with a bigger engine, with a view to towing a trailer.
