Ford Transit 100 T350L 2011 LWB High Top
Alot of love and money went into this self build campervan conversion – it’s given my partner and I some amazing adventures both in the UK and abroad. Sadly though, as a now family of four, we can’t use it anymore and rather than watch it gather dust it deserves some new owners who’ll give it a new lease of life. You’ll want to tidy up some of the uglier bits, fix some of the small outstanding jobs and maybe give it a renewed lick of paint, so it’s all ready for it’s next chapter. It would suit an individual, couple and maybe even a pair with a young child. I’ll start with the good, as it deserves that, but there are some (mainly) aestethic things that need some attention as well. I want to be full transparent with a potential buyer because I don’t want to haggle on the day – I bought it as a ex national rail crew van 5 years ago for the same price I’m selling it now, but it now has an almost full conversion done on it and all new electrical system. I know it’s worth, so please only get in touch / come see the campervan if you are willing to pay the asking price. Please get in touch with any questions. Thank you. So… here we go;
The good:
New MOT – Valid until October 2025!
Two 100w solar panels on the roof
Two new 12V Eco Worthy 100Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Batteries – new fuse box and wiring.
1000w Inverter and 240v power supply (and plugs in the living space)
DCC30S 12V 30A Dual Input DC-DC On-Board Battery Charger with MPPT
A fully functioning gas oven and hob
A working freshwater sink (with 70L freshwater tank and underslung greywater tank)
An air vent with working fan
Fully wired lighting inside
Fully insulated throughout – it’s warm in the winter and cool in the summer
Fixed raised double bed at the back – length 170cm x 123cm
Pull out table with two bench seats
Ample storage with two pull out cabinets, kitchen units (inc overhead cupboards), overcab space and plenty of space under the bed (suitable for surfboards, bikes and adventure gear!)
Two Fiamma Level Up ramps
Portable grey water tank for ease on campsites
Outdoor Revolution Turismo Low Mid Line Drive Away Awning
In 2021 had timing chain replaced and engine rebuilt with cylinder head replaced (though don’t have paperwork to evidence this). It now runs super well and have had no issues with it since.
The bad / outstanding work:
The diesel heater doesn’t work – it has never been wired up as I never needed it myself. But it has all the required wiring, just someone with some proper time and know how to wire it up.
The freshwater tank hose needs fixing to the outer body of the van so it can be filled from the outside – currently the tank can just be filled from the inside though so not an urgent fix.
Part of the c rail to attach the driveaway awning and sun canopy has come away and needs refixing
The inside of the rear doors and side door need cladding up
Reversing camera supplied but not wired in
A few of the cupboard doors under the oven need refixing
Only partial service history
The ugly:
The outside needs some significant rust treatment. There are two major patches on either side that could do with the panels repairing. A bodyworks company quoted me ยฃ1,000 for this work. There are also scuffs and other rust spots around the outside, victims of tight Devon roads and salty sea air.
In the last two years the van has mainly been used to transport stuff around, to the skip and back :(. It needs a new lick of paint inside and a bit of a dust. Some of the cab upholstery could do with a deeper clean.
