Ford TRANSIT MK7 LWB RWD
2.4l RWD, it was a Network Rail crew van and seemed very well maintained, bought by somebody who never used it then sold to me so third owner.
MOT until January 2025. Had an advisory for rust around sills so have taken it back to metal, treated, welded and repainted with black raptor paint.
Also had four new tyres in January – continental van contact – very good premium tyres. Tracking and balancing adjusted.
Very good reliable engine, I’ve driven from 78,000 miles and not a single problem.
Lockdown project, a labour of love. I’ve been all over Europe in this, living and working from the van but have now upgraded to a motorhome. Keen to pass on to someone who will have just as much adventures. If the next owner wants to make adjustments or improvements in happy to keep in contact for any advise on the build!
