Just spent over £3k on repairs at Ford garage with paid invoice to show all the work completed including new Turbo charger so she’s in great shape mechanically and ready to be someone’s new dream van.
New back tyre in October ’22
Bodywork is in great condition for an 8 year old van but there’s a small dent on the back right hand side.
Lola is the perfect van to live, work and travel in.
She was converted during lockdown by the previous owner
The off grid electric set-up keeps fridge, lights and your electronics charged even on cloudy days.
Specs:
320W Solar Panel
260AH AGM Deep Cycle Leisure Battery connected to B2B charger (DC/DC) which is both the solar MPPT Controller and van’s Smart Alternator controller
12V Electrical System including USB & USBC ports
240V Hookup & Battery Charger
12V Dometic CRX50 Fridge with small freezer compartment
2 Burner Gas Cooker Hob
2.5L Campingaz Bottle & Gas Locker – has lasted me on average 2.5 months per refill and you can open and close it without getting out of bed.
Simploo composting toilet – discretely tucked away and pulls out from under the sink.
95L fixed water tank under the bed means you don’t have to refill that often at all and when you do there’s 10m fill-up hose.
25L underslung grey water tank – no need to keep smelly waste water in the van!
Generous sized sink (with retractable tap with two water pressure settings & shower head extension)
Pull out table/desk set-up
Storage:
Ample amounts of storage with x6 pull-up cupboards across whole length of one side of the van plus x4 drawers and lots of garage space under the bed (106Wx 55H x 140L cm available) which is very easily accessible without the need to go out and opening the back doors; handy when it’s wet outside or you’re still in your PJs!)
Ceiling Fan/Vent – adjustable speed sucking air out when cooking and pushing air in when ventilation needed.
Diesel heater – 5kw and connected to the main diesel tank, only takes about 5/10 minutes to heat up whole van.
Insulation:
Very well insulated, the walls and ceiling all have sound deadening, 10cm thermafleace insulation and thermo van liner. The flooring also has 25ml insulation board.
Signs of usual wear and tear but otherwise ready to live in immediately.
Security:
Yale locks on cab doors and sliding door for extra peace of mind.
The cab is accessible from the living area.
Currently living in Lola part-time and moving a bit so mileage will go up slightly.
Selling due now having plans to travel to another continent this year for an extended period of time so keeping Lola isn’t viable unfortunately.
More photos available on request.
One of Lola’s best features is the bed!
It’s a fixed double bed measuring 135cm (width) x 173cm (length) with a 15″ memory foam mattress which is extremely comfortable!
If you’re taller than 5f 6″/170cm sleeping diagonally works well.
