A lovely conversion that we have made great use of but it is time to move on.
No expense spared on any of the equipment installed to make life as easy and comfortable as possible. You could easily live in this van full time if you would like.
The electrical system, from Victron, draws power from solar, whilst the engine is running and also from external power should you really need to. In reality we have never had to plug in at a campsite except in horrible weather in the winter when staying in one place. You just don’t have to think about it.
An extremely spacious and comfortable fixed rear bed with plenty of clothes storage overhead, reading lights and USB sockets for charging all your phones/tablets/etc.
The driver and passenger seats both swivel to provide 4-person dining around the table, which can be left in place whilst travelling which the kids love. The front seats convert in to a second bed in just a few minutes, suitable for sleeping 2 kids or 1 adult. More lighting and USB sockets are also available here for charging including a mains socket.
Ventilation is provided by a MaxxAir Deluxe fan at the front end an MPK opening skylight at the rear. We have slept in some extremely hot climates and it is very comfortable overnight with the through-draft provided by opening the rear vent and setting the front fan on a low setting.
The stereo can be powered by both the leisure and vehicle power systems, meaning you can use it to listen to music when parked up as well.
