This advertisement is for a new bespoke conversion which we are just commencing early for completion mid July, you therefore have the benefit in being able to choose cabinet colours, fabrics and soft furnishings and to some degree layout and equipment specifications. Current conversion by experienced converter on a base vehicle first registered March 2019 LWB Mercedes 314 facelift model. The van has just the original and current owner and mileage of 175,000 with 10 months MOT remaining. Full service history by Mercedes Benz with the Next “B” service due in 10k miles. The vehicle is a six speed manual gearbox which returns around 30 mpg and drives faultlessly with no known issues. The vehicle bodywork is in fantastic condition, no bumps, scrapes or dents. Tyres are very good with lots of tread and the vehicle has the benefit of 2 keys.
In the cab.
The seats and cab are in super condition, no tears in seats or holes in dashboard and all features that you would expect are in working order. This vehicle is fitted with keyless start, rear view camera, Mercedes Benz MBUX Multimedia system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, all working as it should. Multi-function steering wheel, with hands free calling, cruise control etc.
In the lounge
The van has been left intentionally graphics free and comes without an awning however either can be fitted at an additional cost to the purchaser. The V5 continues to show the vehicle as a panel van, we are able to help in the application to change to Motor Caravan if needed.
The vehicle on completion will have a certified weight of approximately 3000kg allowing a payload of 500kg and will come with gas safety certification.
The van is a two berth with two travelling seats, cabinetry and doors in your choice of colour tone, oak worktops to kitchen unit, over fridge and occasional table.
Seating is quality foam with a durable washable fabric in your choice of colour with nonslip backing and complimentary cushions. This area will comfortably seat six or seven adults. The seating making a super sized bed of 2000mm x 1750mm by utilising the two table tops for the base. Lighting is provided by a range of touch sensitive and switched overhead, under cabinet and mood lighting. A range of mains 240v and 12v sockets provided. Full warm air ducting to seating area with two outlets. Ventilation is provided by both an opening vent to the front of the habitation area and a Maaxfan to the rear with temperature control and remote control. Both vents are fitted with LED lighting, black out blinds and fly screen. All windows are 80% privacy glass meaning lots of light in but not able to easily view inside. Opening windows include a fly screen and all will have either black out blinds or black out curtains in your choice of colour and fabric.
Storage is plentiful, over the cab, in the overhead cabinets, under the seats, in the kitchen cabinets, even a wardrobe unit with hanging rail and lighting.
In the kitchen
Full kitchen unit with cupboards, two drawers (one with a cutlery tray) gas locker, oak worktops, flip down worktop extension, Thetford double burner hob (or Thetford Triplex oven, hob and grill at additional cost), sink and mixer tap with hose extension.Shelving over with 2 double sockets and one single socket to sliding door. Dedicated lighting over hob/oven too. Refrigeration is provided by an 85l 12v fridge with internal light and removable freezer compartment.
In the bathroom.
The bathroom is fitted with a Thetford electric flush toilet with cassette, shower tray, thermostatic shower valve, shower rail and curtain stored to the rear, a real ceramic basin with mixer tap and a Fiamma roof vent with extractor fan. Warm air ducting at low level for warmth and drying.
Power, heat & water.
The vehicle is equipped with a 200w Solar panel (with space and capacity to add additional), 130amp hour leisure battery, 1000w inverter, dc/dc charger and mains shore power charger and 240v hook up.
Power is distributed by a CBE 210 panel which monitors battery state, water levels, internal/external temperatures, water pump and exterior awning lights.
Space heating and water heating are provided by a Truma 2e combination boiler working off electric, gas or a mixed supply of both. A sealed gas cupboard containing gas regulator and security strap is located in the kitchen area, large enough for either a 13kg or 6kg propane gas bottle. (Bottle not included in sale)
Fresh (70L) and grey (52L) water tanks are located under the vehicle.
