4 berth, 1993 Talbot Express , Eldiss Autoquest 3205 conversion, 4 wheel drive, low mileage

It is with great regret we are selling our much loved little house on wheels due to personal circumstances, we have had her for a couple of years and my son and I have had lots of fun in her, we have not travelled far as you can see by the low mileage. When we purchased her she had been in storage, under cover for 13 years and had not been used much, she does have some rust patches in the usual places ( around the windscreen) and a few others but otherwise considering her age she is in great nick. I have added rear sensors and a reversing camera and a new fridge and she has had her habitual service prior to the past three seasons. She has just passed her MOT and is now ready for a new owner to go into summer 2023. She is outside the house ready for viewing for anyone interested in taking her on some new adventures.

Mileage
Unusually low considering it’s age as it was stored in a barn under cover for 13 years previous to my
purchase and only driven to and from the garage for the MOT and service just
under 40,000 miles on the clock but has been stored outside since purchase hence the rust patches.

It has recently passed it’s MOT and has a full years MOT lasting until October 2023

Body work
Due to previous owner storing the van undercover the body work looks in good condition for
it’s age there are a rust spots around the windscreen which are common for Talbots and a few other areas due to being stored outside since , over sill maintained
professionally yearly.
Replacements/repairs since purchase:
Since purchase in November 2020 I have replaced the speedo cable, both infill strips to main windows
plus one window seal, it has also had a new radiator, new fridge, a sat nav, rear facing camera, a new clutch and
reversing sensors fitted. Overfill on body work maintained with each Tourer Annual Service
This van is perfect for camping on or off grid and for big road trips,
The little heater allows for year round camping and runs off the same gas as the
cooker and hob and has been tested annually.
The lock on the electricity cupboard is faulty and requires tinkering with or a replacement, I have spare keys for all locks
on cupboards and doors.
Paperwork:
I have a back catalogue of original paperwork, for example MOT’s dating back too 1997 and original
instruction manuals for the cooker etc
