Conversion Description

Almost finished x5 seater camper which was purchased with plans to tour Europe, but change of circumstances has lead to reluctant sale.

I was very particular when searching for the donor vehicle and looked at plenty before buying this one. The previous owner ran a large shop fitting company and had around 14 vans. It was a very well looked after vehicle, the first services were Citroen main dealer and the subsequent services and maintenance were carried out at a garage he sent all his van fleet to. everything works as it should, the A/C is cold, touch screen radio/CD all works. No dents, rips or scratches inside or out.

All that is needed to finish the interior is a set of Solway panels, or similar, which are pre made and fit the van exactly, these could be covered in any type of fabric and then fitting the kitchen units and bed, both to your own design. We planned on a table at the front between the two rows of seats, then a kitchen area and then beds to the rear of the van. I have worked it all out as we needed 5 beds and it is easily possible to have a low sofa/bed and an upper double bed for children, which can be lowered , or x2 singles could be hinged and fold down from each side of the van.

It has a full respray in cement grey, x2 side windows, roof fan, x5 belted seats, x2 front swivel seats, x3 individual isofix rear seats which can be folded or removed to give maximum flexibility. Floor, walls, ceiling and cab fully insulated with PIR insulation under reflective bubble insulation. Cavities filled with thermowool insulation. Rear ply panels just to protect insulation.

Full 240v shore electric hook up and full off grid electrics x3 different Vitron chargers, (Solar, DC to DC and 12v charger). Renology 2000w inverter for induction hob, x2 Renology 100Ah Lion Bluetooth batteries. Battery shunt. Vitron Fuse hub. All wiring fitted for lights, fridge, usb ports, induction hob. Underslung CAK 90l water tank with filler already fitted too. I worked out that the batteries should be okay to run an all the electrical items and an induction hob through the inverter, as we would be driving most days and the DC to DC charger would top the batteries up, or we could use a 240v hook up if we were staying on a site for a few days.

Overall it’s the perfect base to put your mark on and create something really special. Any questions, please get in touch.
