VW Highline T28 Transporter SWB
This white Volkswagen Transporter Highline has had a professional conversion and is a registered Motorhome with the DVLA. Externally it is in stunning condition with genuine VW Alloy Wheels, it has hidden vents and hook up points along with factory fitted reversing sensors. To optimise space within the camper, a refillable propex gas tank has been fitted beneath the camper (gas refills are up to 4 x cheaper than bottled gas). The Genuine VW bike rack, coupled with the roof rack enabled the owners of the van to comfortably take 2 kayaks and 4 bikes on holidays.
Internally the highline specification provides a multi function steering wheel, heated front window screen and door mirrors. The high standard conversion includes full acoustic and thermal insulation, which is finished with a carpet lining. The furniture includes side cabinets, under-bed storage and the kitchen includes a two ring hob with a sink, Wako electric fridge, cupboards and under sink storage. The fully certified RIB Altair bed system is in VW-specific upholstery to match the front seats and converts into a perfectly flat bed.
The second bed space is provided within the HiLo low profile pop roof (almost invisible when closed) which is the top spec version with a safari zip up panoramic blackout canvas. This blackout lining alongside the limo tinted windows, blackout curtains in the main cab provides extra privacy and everybody sleeps well even in bright mornings.
The conversion had extra 12v USB and mains power points fitted, along with LED lighting, 23 litre removable fresh water tank, rear shower point and rare tailgate fitted with lighting and speakers. The double front swivel seat allows the Campervan to function as a 5 seat vehicle for everyday use and also seating flexibility when camping.
This campervan is a comfortable, capable cruiser with good efficiency which has been used as a daily drive as well as taking the family away on holidays throughout France from the beach at St Tropez to the French / Swiss mountains.
