LEYLAND road runner
1991 OFF GRID WOOD PANELLED CONVERTED HORSEBOX. 7.5 T LEYLAND ROAD RUNNER
Gutted to be selling our lovely Aubery. We brought her in May this year with the intention of going away in her a lot but due to a change in work circumstances, that is no longer possible so our after a new home for her.
We brought her from a lady who lived in her for 6 years full time and the following ad is her words with the odd adjustment of mileage etc.
The horsebox used to transport 2 huge work horses until I bought her 6 years ago and converted her into a full off grid home. I’ve lived in her since then and she has been a wonderful ‘wood cabin on wheels’. There has been a lot of love and care given to her over the years – I’m practical and creative so she’s a really functional (everything has a place!) but interesting and colourful. I set out to do an eco-conscious conversion using eco wood fibre insulation and almost entirely reclaimed materials throughout which includes lots of beautiful wood plus details such as old decorative handles. They give her a sense of depth and history. She’d make a great off grid home, motorhome or Air BnB for her next owner
