All Seasons Modern & Sleek Complete Stealth Campervan - Solid Oak Detailing Throughout

This completed conversion is the epitome of an entirely stealth camper van. With it’s plain exterior there are no giveaways that it is anything but a standard van until the doors are opened and you are immersed with the scrupulous detailing and design features of a project that has been tirelessly thought through, planned and executed to the highest of craftsmanship standards.

It is an all seasons camper van in every sense with it being just as comfortable with snow on the ground as it is in a warmer climate. This is down to the sheer amount of insulation that has been used and the way in which it has been applied. Soft fill insulation, closed cell foam and then Celotex boards have been utilised to create complete thermal barriers on all of the van walls as well as the additional walls built internally such as the front bulkhead, rear walls, the underneath structure of the bed and all pop out doors and windows to eradicate any thermal bridging. The Celotex boards have then been aluminium taped forming a complete vapour barrier.

Front Cab Area

The cab can either house and accept a single seat for one passenger or a double bench seat allowing for two passengers.

This area of the vehicle is neat and tidy with an entirely bespoke rubber matted floor, a black fabric modified bulkhead with a solid oak framed walk way, step and pop out door allowing entrance in to the main living area of the conversion when a single seat configuration is set up.

There is also a 7 inch monitor installed on the rear view mirror for the infrared reversing camera along with a switch for the double LED flood lights installed on the rear of the vehicle to allow for clear viewing when reversing and for using the wing mirrors at night.

Main Living Area

When entering the vehicle through the sliding doors you are first faced with a handcrafted solid oak dining table and chair positioned to allow an almost panoramic view outside when sat down. Both the table and chair are foldable to maintain clutter free, extra space in the van when not in use.

Above the table and chair there are four overhead storage compartments recessed in to the bulkhead that sits over the front cab area making sure every inch of space has been incorporated and not wasted.

The van has a white painted, timber cladded ceiling with four equally spaced, contrasting black puk lights. In-between the lights you will also see the large, centrally positioned Maxx Air Fan that comes with remote operation and allows for air intake or extraction.

There are multiple 3-pin, USB and 12V sockets incorporated throughout the living area along with switches for appliances with black nickel faceplates.

Heading over to the right is the full-sized domestic LPG double oven, grill and four burner hob with an added dark zenith removable worktop with a solid oak T handle creating extra table space sitting below the recessed wrap around white metro tiling. Above all of this is a solid oak, floating condiment shelf with two integrated puk lights to ensure you have a well lit preparation and cooking area.

Opposite the cooker is a sizeable 50cm sink unit with a matching zenith worktop, splash back and shelf with two 15 litre Italian made Stainless Steel water drums allowing for easy, economical water heating capability. Underneath the sink is the 85 litre 12v compressor fridge freezer. To the side of the fridge you will find an oak handled storage compartment used to store a set of folding steps to allow easy access on to the bed or in and out of the van from outside.

The van is heated with a Webasto Air Top diesel heater that pushes warm air through directional and closable vents.

Positioned around the Maxx Air Fan you will also find four recessed screw mounts allowing for attachment of a shower curtain when the removable Ridge Monkey shower and tray are configured.

Sleeping Area

The conversion houses a full size double bed enclosed in it’s own secondary insulated pod with an oak trimmed pop out panel that sits in the huge window frame at the rear of the van and can also be removed and used as a backboard when positioned on the other side of the bed when parked and wanting to look out of the rear doors.

Mounted on the rear wall are two bespoke floating oak bed lights which are operated with a black nickel switch underneath, beside the 12v & USB sockets for any devices wishing to be used in bed.

A ventilation system has also been built which sits underneath the memory foam mattress creating airflow that can be increased when coupled with the extraction setting on the Maxx Air Fan.

Wet-Room / Bathroom

The van also comprises a heated, altro cladded wet room with a completely removable Simploo composting toilet allowing for extra space if needed.

Underneath Storage Area / Extra Sleeping Area

There is a huge underneath storage area housed in the conversion that sits underneath the fixed bed. Similar to the main living area the ceiling is cladded with white painted timber with recessed black puk lights. With the area being so large there are numerous configuration options available which could include extra berth capabilities or pet housing if desired.

To the right of this area you will find the 2 X 110AH batteries that are charged from the split charger when the engine is running or from the 240V hookup that is installed. On the one side of the batteries you will find the fuse board for all electrical components used within the van and a battery isolator cut off switch. On the other side you will find the gas locker with a gas drop out vent for the 13kg LPG bottle.

To the right you will find the switch for the puk lights in the ceiling along with the second switch for the external LED floodlights mounted above the rear doors of the van.
