There is no other Leyland DAF T244 on the market that is as original and rare as this ….
This ex military vehicle was believed to be used for communications. With all the original storage boxes which can be re purposed for example there is one which holds 2 brand new leisure batteries with a slide out battery tray.
The back unit is SOLID ….. it’s literally bomb proof … unlike other Leyland DAF’s with fibre glass bodies this is a solid ‘ready to convert’ and very rare back base.
With just 55,500 miles on the dash this is ready to drive around the world – we have just spent shy of £6,000 for a FULL service including: 4 BRAND NEW tyres and a BRAND NEW spare tyre.
Complete oil change and just in general a FULL and thorough check over.
We have put on a BRAND NEW powder coated metal roof rack… with metal chequered floor to enjoy sunsets on the roof of the cab.
2 BRAND NEW solar panels ready to be wired up – we wanted to leave space on the roof for whoever buys and converts to possibly add more solar panels or another roof rack?
BRAND NEW carpet with foil foam underlay – this is currently being protected with off cuts carpet to keep the carpet in pristine condition.
Original military padlocks, original military stairs, 2 x brand new side leisure windows, brand new sky light installed, BRAND NEW awning installed.
