LDV Convoy Lwb
A great example of an LDV it has the ford 2.4 duratorq diesel engine with 5 speed gearbox. MOT until August 10th 2022. It’s recently had new brakes and new tyres on the rear and good tread still left on the front tyres it has been very well looked after in its early life as it was a disabled minibus which had to be kept in very good condition. Since we have owned it it’s had a brand new clutch and flywheel and regular services. The bodywork is as to be expected for its age with the odd rust bubble but is very solid underneath. The whole floor was welded and treated before we converted the inside.

Rustic theme with wooden cladding giving it a very homely feel. Lots of little details add to the charm of this camper such as the driftwood wall with wood from the Isle of Skye, the Isle of Harris gin bottle bed lamps, spice rack/tea jars, copper panels and switches, classic Mini voltmeter, boat roof window, ceramic knobs, handmade leather straps and the handmade bee style curtains
The camper features a fully functional woodburner with all the safety requirements. Brand new 160w Solar panel runs into a Victron Mppt solar regulator with Bluetooth, split charge system runs into 2 huge 110ah leisure batteries, Top of the range Dometic Crx50 fridge, Italian double ring gas hob, copper jam pan sink with electric water pump and water tank. Sony stereo wired into 6 speakers around the van for full surround sound. 12v warm white LED spotlights, 4 usb ports and a 500w inverter
Lots of storage room with 3 large pull out drawers under the bed, a cupboard with clothes rail, kitchen drawers and cupboards, over cab shelf storage and a huge space under the bed in the boot enough to store a couple of bikes.
2 captain swivel seats that spin around to face the slot in table make a great dining area.
We installed brand new waterproof carpet in the cab so it’s perfect for mucky boots.
A huge amount of time and money was put into this van and it will be very sad to see it go but we would love for someone to use it for even more adventures.
