Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

This tiny home on wheels was a true labor of love! I bought it newly converted, started to change it a little and upgrade the electrical system and then got stuck out of the country for two years because of the C-word. My life has changed in that time and I won’t be spending enough time in the UK, so I’ve decided the van should go to a new home where it can have real adventures!

It’s set up as a stealth camper. – I had intended to live in it full time and wanted to be able to park and sleep on city streets without any trouble, so from the outside it looks just like any other white van, unless you’re very sensitive to vanlife details. It has no windows in the back, so once the partition curtain are closed, and the included insulated window cover for the sliding door is up, it’s super-private back there. It was safely stored for the two years I was gone and so well-cared-for that the mechanics garage I took it to when I got back (for a full pre-sale service) mentioned what great shape it was in.

This is a diesel van. It’s remarkably easy to drive, especially for its size. Drives and runs flawlessly. Hill starts are no problem at all and thanks to the reversing camera parking is a breeze too.
It’s just passed its MOT which is now good until March 2023. I had it thoroughly serviced before the MOT and it’s got new front tyres, a new starter battery, all new filters etc. I do not have a full service history but I also had it fully inspected by a an AA mechanic before I bought it from the previous owner and it came back mechanically sound. It does have some exterior wear and tear normal for its age but very little rust. I am happy to share the report I got when I bought it if you’d like.

Conversion Description

The conversion is brand new and never used. I had intended to live in it full time but life took a different path. So it’s currently set up just as I’d like it – very private and cozy in the back and with clean lines in the counter. This means that the stove is portable, not built in – it suits me better that way because I prefer to have the clear counterspace but if you would like a built-in stove and oven there’s plenty of room to add one.

Simploo composting toilet slides under the counter in the bathroom for more shower space
Solid wood counter and birch ply drawer and cupboard fronts
Handmade leather cupboard door handles
Solid brass faucet and designer black sink
New diesel heater to keep you cozy in the winter
Tons of storage under the sofas and in the counter with plenty of scope to add more on the walls or over the cab.
The sliding door is insulated and covered to match the sofa.
Brand new 1000w pure sine inverter
Victron smart charger (for charging from a plug in connection)
Mppt solar monitor (also brand new).
2 new 110AH leisure batteries and new wiring, fuses and kill switch

Some things to bear in mind:
The water heater is currently disconnected from the gas for safety’s sake. While I am sure that the water pump works – because I just replaced it – I am not sure that the heater does. However it would be very easy to replace and a new one would cost about £200
The batteries charge from a solar panel on the roof currently and/or shore power (plugging into the mains) There is also a split charger but it still needs to be hooked up. The wires are there and all run but I didn’t get around to connecting it before I had to leave the country.
The van is currently in the care of my sister and brother in law, who would be showing it to you.
The price I believe reflects the high quality of the build as well as the mileage, the condition of the exterior and the few things that may need finishing.
If you would like to test drive it you will need to provide proof of insurance to drive it, and my brother in law will go with you, or he will drive and you can ride shotgun.

Beds Description

The L-shaped couch converts to a double bed with the aid of the extra panel and reconfiguring the cushions. You could also use the extra panel as a table – it would just need telescoping or alternate legs to be higher than the sofa base.
