Sadly deciding to sell our beloved first van which we bought in May this year, its been a dream of ours for years to have a campervan, so it will be sad to see it go so soon, however we are going traveling in November and need to free up the funds.

The van spent a week being checked over and serviced by a friend that works at VW Van Center and all the identified issues and worn parts were fixed or replaced. We spent a lot of money making the van as most mechanically reliable as possible and has performed perfectly ever since (Details below of the work we had done, we also have pictures and documents of all of this). We bought the van knowing it needed TLC and due to our connection with the VW Van Center we knew we could do this easier and to a better quality than many others and bring the van back to a great standard.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to use this van as much as we would have liked due to life getting in the way and upgrading the interior taking a lot longer than expected haha. But we did however manage a wonderful 2 week road trip around the UK as seen in the pictures attached. One of the main reasons we bought this van is that it was built with sports in mind with its large garage area. We fitted 2 mountain bike fork mounts and both bikes and all of our stuff/equipment for 2 weeks fit perfectly, you could however fit around 4 bikes if you wish. This van would be perfect for an active and adventurous couple or small family.

Due to the new shock absorbers, addition of 2 captain swivel seats with armrests and AC the van is extremely comfortable on long trips and was a joy to drive. A third electronically operated swivel seat was also added by the previous owner meaning you can travel with a third passenger and when all the seats are facing each other it makes for a nice social space if the weather isn’t great.

Some dents and rust are present but to be expected for a van of this age, no big rust issues on the underside of the van (This was inspected in May 2023). We spent a lot of time upgrading the interior of the van, however never got round to the last job of boxing in and carpeting the bulkhead pillars. (We have spare carpet and rough templates for this)
