Big Blue is Ready for New Adventures!!

This Ford Transit conversion is ready to be taken away on an off-grid adventure immedietly. We built it though lock down for going off grid and since finishing it have done numerous trips to Europe & Ireland with no hassle. It is ready to be lived in, taken on adventures or completely personalised to suit any individual.

Bed Description
–There is a double bed spanning the rear of the van width ways with an extender to sleep length ways (makes bed massive)

– 360 Watts of solar (2 x 160w Photonic Universe panels)
– 40-amp Photonic Universe solar MPPT charge controller
– 140 amp Voltage Sensitive Relay (charges batteries while driving)
– 260Ah of deep cycle leisure battery
– Battery monitor
– Whole system is 12v making the van suitable for off-grid living

– 1400W 240v Pure Sine Wave Inverter
– 240v fuse box
– 240v battery charger
– Dash cam/reverse camera

Lighting and Ventilation:
– There are lots of different lighting options in the van
– LED strip lights line the underside of upper cabinets for mood lighting
– LED lighting positioned next to the bed to act as mood / reading light
– 8 x 12v spotlights run the length of the van
– All of these lighting options are on dimmable switches
– Plus ample lighting within the garage area
– Roof vent
– Maxx air fan fitted central to kitchen to provide extraction and good air flow, controlled remotely

Gas:
– 2 burner Thetford hob
– 7kg Butane bottle

Water and Heating:
– 73L freshwater tank fitted externally
– 41L grey water tank fitted externally
– Shurflo water pump
– Seaflo Water accumulator
– Water filter
– Heating for the van is run by a diesel heater (linked into fuel tank)

Seating, Table and beds
– The seating for the table is comfortable for 2 people
– Both bench seats have generous storage inside
– Sliding table pulls out from beneath the main bed at a comfortable hight

Insulation:
– Beneath everything there is ample Dodo Mat sound deadening
– Recycled plastic bottle wool and celotex sheets for insulation
– Diesel heater with a simple to use controller heats the van quickly on cold days

Storage and Extras:
– The design and organisation of utilities it has allowed for an extremely large garage area. Can fit bikes upright.
– 2 x overhead cabinets and lots of under counter space
– generously sized over the cab storage
