Billy Van – White Vauxhall Movano Stealth Camper!
Lovingly converted from a 3 seater commercial panel van in 2019 so I could have somewhere to sleep under the radar in the city during the week, and escape to camp in the country at the weekends! White van from the outside (never had trouble parking anywhere), opens up into glorious adventure mobile. I’m looking for someone to take beloved Billyvan on some new adventures – selling with great sadness as I need the cash!
Single bed that folds out to a double; bench seating (for two people and a dog, or three if you don’t mind being cozy); untreated wood cladding with organic sheep wool insulation (walls, ceiling, floor – toasty in deepest winter and cool in summer); kitchen top inc. fold out laptop work stand, sink and storage underneath (sink not currently plumbed in but can provide parts); wardrobe and lots of under bench storage; large boot/storage space (can fit 4 bikes with the wheels off + 2 surf boards); bulkhead opens up into cab (mirror is cracked); secret safe for valuables; and most importantly; book shelf!
Things it doesn’t have: electrics wired in (I use a portable battery as it does all I need and keeps it simple/ was worried about burning the van down); gas (ditto); straight lines, as was all hand done (!). It has the usual scrapes and scuffs you would expect from an adventure van but otherwise in good nick. Previously owned by National Windows (until 2019), driven responsibly with black box so received it in great condition. Will provide full service and repairs history / paperwork.
Converted from a commercial double glazing van: bulkhead removed and replaced with kitchen unit and lifting bulkhead; side tinted window and passive air vent professionally installed; walls ceiling and floor insulated with organic sheep wool and clad in non-treated timber; flooring laid and bed/bench/storage structure self built; fitted safe.
Bed is a raised platform at the rear or the van that sleeps one person when the benches out but folds out to allow for two people to sleep on it.
