Meet BRACKEN, the latest campervan to roll out of the Nada Nook Workshop…

Fully off grid, thoughtfully designed, beautifully appointed, meticulously hand crafted with love & ready for some seriously luxurious adventures. If you’re looking for a practical & flexible compact campervan with full standing height, heaps of storage & packed with features – then BRACKEN is the van for you! With a vehicle footprint that will easily fit in most parking spaces & driveways – but with a deceptively spacious interior & everything you could possibly need for short or long trips away – BRACKEN really is a campervan that can pretty much do it all…

BRACKEN was professionally converted by Nada Nook during April & May 2024, the base van is an extremely rare, full standing height (190cm) VW Transporter T6. To make things even more unique, the base van is the renowned 4Motion (All-wheel drive) variant with Highline spec.

BRACKEN was an absolute treat to transform from a run-of-the-mill white van to this stunning off-road capable campervan. From the external swamper-style mods such as the Raptor respray, Maxxtrax MK II Recovery Boards, Bilstein Lift Kit & Rogue Alloys with All-Terrain Tyres to the beautiful scandi-cool Birch Plywood interior, solid oak flooring and gorgeous woolen upholstery fabric by Abraham Moon – we absolutely love how everything has come together!

BRACKEN has been designed & built to comfortably travel + sleep 3 with a large u-shaped lounge that converts into a king-sized bed + upper-level platform bed (suitable for up to 40kg). Perfect as a family camper – or a spacious home on wheels for 2…

BRACKEN is an all-season camper with 3 layers of insulation (closed cell foam, recycled plastic bottle + aluminum backed bubble roll) plus the excellent Eberspacer D2 diesel heater to keep things toasty warm & cosy.

Being a 4Motion Transporter, BRACKEN is all wheel drive – meaning you no longer need to worry about getting stuck in a muddy field or down a dusty trail. Those hard-to-reach camp spots are now within reach! And when you get there, the amazing motorhome WIFI system will ensure you still have high-speed internet access in even the most remote locations…

At 5.3m in length, BRACKEN is much more compact than the average MWB or LWB campervan – making driving, maneuvering and parking super simple – easily fitting into a regular parking space and feeling more like a luxury car/SUV to drive than a van. Every journey in BRACKEN is a treat, with heaps of power from the 185bhp engine, over 550 mile range from a full tank, a commanding driving position and that all-important All-Wheel-Drive 4Motion system.

BRACKEN has an ultra-modern, fully off-grid all-electric (read ‘gas-free’) set up including a powerful 2000W Renogy Inverter/Charger paired with the Vango Sizzle Induction Hob for all your culinary needs – powered by the brand new Renogy Pro series 200Ah Lithium Battery which is charged via a 300W Solar Panel, 50A Charger or Mains Hook Up. With this much tech onboard, you’ll never have to worry about running out of power!

BRACKEN has been 100% crafted by hand. This means absolutely every millimetre of the build has been lovingly designed, made, finished & installed by either Alistair or Jenny. If you care about the details, then this is the van for you…

BRACKEN’S interior is the epitome of minimal scandi-style cool, with the stunning grain of the Birch Plywood used throughout allowed to be the star of the show! The UK produced wool upholstery fabric sourced from Abraham Moon & Sons perfectly compliments the wooden interior, softening the edges and turning BRACKEN into a luxurious haven that you can pretty much take anywhere!

BRACKEN was designed & built by Nada Nook Workshop and used as a show/demo van. It is now being made available to buy as a private sale. As BRACKEN is a brand new & unused conversion, we are happy to extend our usual 6-month warranty on all aspects of the build. More details are available on request.
