The van itself has done 131600 miles with one previous owner to me. 6 speed manual gearbox, it drives very well and has good service history, I had her serviced in December 2020, the MOT runs until December 2021, there was an advisory for front tyres which have now been replaced and I have had a gas safety inspection done, the certificate is present.
The body work is is very good condition for its mileage.
I have had a hidden immobiliser switch fitted for extra security and there is a Bulldog wheel lock.
Once the conversion was finished we visited the local weighbridge and she came in at 2680kg.
This is my Vauxhall Movano Camper conversion which has been a long time coming due to Covid and availability of materials.
I first started designing this conversion in early 2019, then I found the van, then came lockdown and the 2 amazing guys who have converted this for me have worked around various supply issues along with other work commitments, anyway she is now finished and ready to find a loving home who can add a few personal touches and get her on the open road to enjoy some off-grid or on-grid adventures.
Here’s what she’s got:
2 x front seats, passenger seat swivel.
Small bench seat with a cushioned top and large storage under, this also houses the removable table and Fiamma table leg set, above is an aluminium black shelf profile.
The Shower cubicle has a small ceramic sink, a mixer tap with a shower head, a 12v mushroom ceiling vent, spotlights and a Thetford toilet with electric flush and an RV style pleated shower door.
The kitchen area has a solid oak worktop with a Can sink, a brushed steel single lever monobloc tap and a 2 burner gas hob, there is also a cutlery draw and tray, the gas bottle is housed in the cupboard below the gas hob and there is also a floor vent.
The Indel fridge is situated under the bed and has a small freezer compartment.
The double bed is 1700mm x 1200mm and has a Premium Orthopaedic mattress.
There is plenty of storage around the Camper, a small wardrobe, loads of kitchen storage and overhead storage at the foot of the bed space.
The camper has been Insulated with Celotex and sound deadened with DoDo Dead mat.
It has the benefit of a Webasto diesel fuel burning heating system that provides vented hot air heating and hot water via a heat exchanger, the on-board water tank has a 105ltr capacity.
The windows are Shield Autocare caravan style windows with fly screens and black out blinds, there is one on the drivers side above the bench seat and one in the rear door which will be nice to look out of whilst lying in bed with a cup of tea.
There is an oak ledge at the back of the Camper with a 240v socket a twin USB socket and two cup holders.
The under-bed storage area/garage contains the battery, water tank, webasto heating and hot water system and all the fuse boxes and electrics, the flooring is laminate and there are two fork mounted bike carriers (suitable for 2 adult size bikes) and LED strip lighting, this area gives you plenty of room for storage, inflatables etc.
There are spotlights throughout the Camper with separate switches for the bed area, the shower room and the main living area and the flooring is wood affect laminate.
I have never used this Camper as I now need to sadly part with her so the duvet, pillows and duvet cover set is all new and unused.
