VW Caddy Maxi
– As an ex British Gas van, it has been very well looked after, it drives faultlessly, is in excellent condition with a 100% MOT pass rate and a good service history.
This is a brand new conversion that has been professionally built by myself at the Cornish Camper Collective!
I decided to go with a Scandinavian theme in this van and used very high quality birch throughout the entire build. This ensures that as well as being beautiful and aesthetically pleasing it is also built to last.
The conversion features a couch and seating area during the day which easily converts into a small (cosy) double bed fit for two people in the evenings!
The cushions have been professionally upholstered and are made using a double layer of memory foam which are very comfortable. Each cushion has zips on the back if you ever needed to wash the fabric.
There is ample storage space that has been cleverly fit into the entire seating area. One of which is an extra long drawer which pulls out the back of the van and has been built with the intention to be used as an outdoor cooking area! This has been mounted on heavy duty drawer slides that have a max load of 120kg.
The kitchen unit features three extra large drawers, the electrical system and the plumbing system.
The van comes with two 25L water tanks, one for fresh and one for grey water.
The tap features a shower head and a hose that can extend up to 1.5m making it perfect for an outdoor shower!
The electrical system comprises of a 50ah lithium battery (5 year warranty), a Victron DC/DC charger, and a Victron smart solar controller which is connected to a 125watt solar panel.

The bed is set up to accommodate comfortable sleeping for two people. During the day it is laid out as a couch/seating area which easily converts into a small double in the evening.
