Ford Transit – LWB 2.4lt
Converted ex-Police riot van. Great drive. Very secure and unbreakable to get in. Have spent 5 years with the van and it’s been incredible. The van does need some cosmetic TLC but runs very well. I’ve made a video with honest highlighting of areas to patch up and will give you a proper sense of the van. Not big jobs. The van is underpriced for a quick sell. It was fully serviced in March 2024 and has an MOT until March 2025. 6 new tyres fitted in November and not much mileage since then. New radiator 18 months ago and a refurbished turbo just under three years ago. A number of break pads and ‘things’, wheel bearings, various pipes fixed and replaced for passing MOT purposes. I have all the documentation from over the years.
The van is fully equipped with cooker, fridge, loads and loads of storage, the police cell at the back is still there, diesel heater, extra wide single bed that can turn into seating with two seat belts. Next MOT due 17/03/2025, 4 owners (the first being the police, the second being the person who did the conversion, the third being a friend of mine who owned for 6 months and me). The van was first registered: 18/02/2011
