I got this van last year when I was in a bit of a panic and not sure where I’d be living. Due to various circumstances since then, I’ve not really used it much. However, it is a great van and drives really well. Whenever a bloke at the garage drives it, they’re all “nice van that!”
I’ve done various bits and bobs of repairs over the last year most notably quite a big welding job just done recently (£800) and a full service about 6 months ago.
The previous owner to me lived in it for 6 months and travelled to Sweden and back with no issues.
I haven’t done any long journeys, but also had no issues.
*When I bought it last year, I was told it had done 171,000 miles, but that the battery was replaced at 100k.
So it’s done 71,945 miles since the new battery.
The odometer is not always clear to read, but says 71,945. I’ve asked a couple of garages and apparently this is okay.
The conversion is pretty much set up to go – you have a bed, plenty of storage, hob, sink, fridge, microwave, lights, table (that can be put away), tv.
You just need to get a new leisure battery to use the electrics!
I think it is insulated in some way, but to be honest I don’t have a lot of information about the conversion. It seems to be done to a good standard.
The seats (driver and passenger) have been replaced and are super comfy and both swivel round.
one double bed
