Commer Autohome
Here for sale is our lovely old Commer Autohome.
Bought in 2007 and used for a few years, it was sent away to a Commer specialist to have the metal work and autohome body fully restored.
We no longer have time to finish this van so are reluctantly putting it up for sale.
Itโs F reg (1968) but has the later auto home body and dash.
Over ยฃ13k spent on restoring the metalwork and completely rebuilding the auto home section (see photos).
Has electronic dizzy and relatively new carb.
It hasnโt been started for 11 years so will likely need new piston rings and will definitely need a rewire and brakes seeing to.
Comes with:

โข 4 hub caps,
โข some ply for lining
โข New seals for windscreen and doors
โข Windscreen is with it but not fitted.

Good points:

Will need an engine rebuild. Hasn’t been started in 11 years

The seals need replacing on the Luton window.
This is a project that has solid foundations to make in to an excellent classic camper.
Ready for someone to finish off knowing metalwork and auto home body are solid and completely rebuilt.
It will need to be towed away as it is not driveable.

There is currently no bed setup as interior is ready for buyer to design themselves.
However originally it had an adult bed made up of the seating area, a Luton fir two children and a hammock for a third child.
