Converted by ourselves with some beautiful wood, a cot (for some great travels with our little one), queensize bed (mattress not included), funky storage space, two roof hatches which give loads of light, blackout side windows which allow you to get changed in the middle of town without being seen, and colourful ceiling. It’s definitely not the neat, premium conversion some vans have, this one is more ad-hoc, fun and functional. Leave as is or make the changes you need for your lifestyle.

Downsides: heater and A/C don’t work / due to the fact that it has been wired in all directions when it was an ambulance, there’s a potential electrical leak so I unplug the battery each time. This can be sorted with the simple installation of a battery switch.
