Peugeot Boxer 2.0 MWB 2005
**DEPOSIT TAKEN**Meet Dylan the van. I have owned and loved Dylan for 4 years now, since I bought him off of a carpenter in Bristol. Originally a plain panel van, me and my partner converted Dylan into a quirky, smart, no-frills campervan, perfect for short stays away, festivals and day trips. He’s had a full and adventurous life with us the last 4 years, touring up and down the UK, admired by passers-by wherever he went for his unique and stylish interior and eye-catching exterior colour (shortly after I bought Dylan, the original paint started to flake off so I picked a new colour, “Peacock Blue” and gave him a new coat of paint).
Dylan has all the basics for a camping trip away:
-A sink fitted with fresh and waste water, operated by a foot pump
-A 3-hob burner, running on Campingaz with a spare cylinder (both currently full) – You can change this to Callor gas if you want, just need to get the right regulator.
-Plenty of under-counter kitchen storage for pots and pans, food etc
-Loads of practical, well-placed hooks, both by the side door and at the rear for hanging bags, coats, umbrellas, towels etc
-Plenty of shelves and storage for clothes, books etc
-A sofa-bed that can sleep 2 adults – This is super easy to turn into a bed and back into a sofa, literally takes seconds.
-Loads of space under the sofa-bed to keep bedding, pillows etc
-Vinyl flooring makes it super easy to keep clean, even after you’ve walked in with your muddy boots!
-A bespoke “garage” offering extra storage. Accessible from both the inside and from out the back of the van, but still open enough so you can enjoy those rear door views!
-Finally onto electrics: Basic set up with a split-charge relay leisure battery fixed in the rear of the van. This means the battery gets charged as you’re driving but you can also take it out and plug it in to charge before embarking on your adventure (battery charger included!) – A full battery with last you the best part of a week away while running lights and charging your phone.
-4 USB sockets, 2 near the kitchen and 2 above the sofa
-Windows: Dylan has a lovely skylight above the kitchen stove that’s fully operational (has both the black-out and mesh screens) – 2 round porthole windows (one on each side) and one window on the rear door.
The van itself is in really good condition mechanically and has never let me down. For an 18 year old vehicle, he still drives like a dream and is quite fuel efficient. I have made sure to take really good care of him throughout the years, spending a good couple of grand keeping him up to scratch. He’s been serviced regularly and any advisories that came up during MOT’s have been dealt with. Loads of paperwork to prove any work done to him as well as 2 sets of keys.
Why am I selling Dylan, you might ask?? It’s not without a heavy heart… but me and my partner are moving to Cyprus in October and unfortunately can’t afford to keep and store him while we’re away. He needs a new home and a family that will love him as much as we have.
Viewings on our yard in Castle Cary between the 4th-7th of September. If not sold then, more viewings can be arranged between the 27th of September and the 4th of October.
