Ford Transit Custom L2 H1 290 ECO-TECH 2016
Say hi to Appa! We’ve had a lot of adventures together and I hope you do too. I’m very sad to see him go but we are relocating to Barcelona and it isn’t feasible to take him with us. I’ve given him a fresh coat of paint and a few updates I wish I’d made earlier for myself. He is designed to fit under the 2m barriers, so the best beach spots are easily accessible and thanks to the original bulkhead design and minimal outer modifications, from the outside he appears to be a regular van. With sheep’s wool and cork insulation, there is no mould or damp build up, and outside noise is significantly reduced. It also helps him to stay cool in hot weather or cosy in cold weather, especially when the heater is on! The solar to battery capacity works great and I’ve never had a time where I’ve run out of power. The little projector setup is an awesome feature when you want to chill out after a day exploring and the “crop sprayer” shower unit that you heat up on the hob works even better than I thought it would. I’ve collected and included the user manuals for most items and I’ve written an owner’s manual to help with things like the bed conversion and water changing. All you will ever need for great adventures. He’s a great camper so “Yip Yip!”
