Mercedes Sprinter welfare bus
The minibus only has just over 75000miles on the clock which is very little for a Mercedes Sprinter.
It has been looked after by a local garage and is in great condition.
There is virtually no rust due to the majority of the body being fiberglass and due to the fact it has spent most of its life in Southern England at a coach storage yard. It only came to Skye last year. The chassis is also in great condition according to the local garage.
It was MOTโd a few weeks ago and passed first time with no advisories.
We bought this van because these Mercedes Sprinter engines are so reliable and efficient. It is great to drive, very smooth with lots of power.
This mini-bus/camper is ready to go as a simple camper/ live-in vehicle or perfect for a fuller conversion project over the winter.
It can be collected from Isle of Skye (why not have a wee holiday at the same time!) or it can be delivered to Inverness or Glasgow.
This minibus/camper was bought by our charity Future Youth Project to take volunteers to work at our projects in Ukraine but as the war broke out the charity could not use the bus so it is looking for a new home.
It comes with 6 belted seats which can be changed around and added/removed easily when needed. The first images show the bus with 2 seats fitted, the last image shows how 4 more can be added to make seating/dining area along with a table.
There is a cast iron multi-fuel stove which has been fitted with safety in mind. When lit it makes the bus very cosy! (there is still room to fit the 4 seats and table).
The bed is a king size bed lying width-ways which frees up a lot of space. Under the bed is a large storage area which can be used to sleep one or two other people. Currently it has a small single bunk with a foam mattress under the main bed.
There are integrated ceiling lights and an additional basic battery set up. It charges whilst driving via a split relay system. There is also a small inverter which can provide 230v.
There is a two ring cooker with a grill running on gas. There is insulation in the walls and ceiling and opening windows along each side and two skylights.
King size bed and single bunk but plenty of room for another bunk.
The contact details for this vehicle are no longer available because it has either sold or the listing has expired.
Insurance options are available through our partner, Ripe Insurance.
