Family Adventure Van - 5 berth

This amazing van has taken our family on many adventures over the past couple of years. What she lacks in whizzy mod-cons she makes up for with comfort and practicality. She’s cavernous inside, with room for 6 belted seats, a large double rock & roll bed, children’s bunkbeds and a fully functional kitchen area. You can use her as a day van as well as a camper for weekends or longer holidays away. The space inside means you can fit whatever kit you need for your adventure in. She also has a roof rack and towbar that give flexibility for additional storage (we used a tow mounted bike rack) on most of our longer trips. She’s really easy to drive and park with a very handy reversing camera.

And the engine is an absolute beast – the 3 litre “million mile engine” as the guys at our garage refer to it as, has been remapped to give it more fuel efficiency (an impressive 38mpg), and even more power. You’l have no problem blasting up steep hills or overtaking BMWs on the motorway in her. A test drive is highly recommended – she is great fun to drive.

She’s just passed her MOT so 12 months on it. All the advisories they identified have been fixed. She’s wanted for nothing – since we’ve owned her we’ve replaced the brake discs, fitted a new performance exhaust, a new leisure battery and replaced the water pump. We’ve also fitted a sealed gas locker and extra vents for the gas that feeds the hob and heater – so that it meets the most recent gas regulations. The bodywork is “well loved” with a few affectionate bumps, dents and scratches – but she’s an adventure van, not a show van, so its never bothered us!
