Family Van - make us an offer

This van was purchased and converted in May 2022 to meet our family requirements. We left space under the beds for all our travelling equipment.

The van has solar hooked to the leisure battery and this performs really well for our family needs. We also have a 24v hook up.

The van was purchased as a basic panel van. We had seats for the kids and windows installed professionally, invoices for that work can be provided.

The van is insulated with wool insulation, a vapour layer, ply on top then 75% of the van was carpeted. The section above our tiny kitchen was clad with wood.

The floor of the van has a very thin insulation layer, vapour barrier, ply, then lino. The lino could easily be replaced.

We have a family dog and when building the van left a luggage hold point visable on the floor to allow us to secure our dog while travelling and when on campsite. This point is at the access sliding door.

We have a diesel heater, heater purchased from amazon, and fitted as DIY to the van. It works perfectly.

The van is my pride and joy but unfortunately due to family circumstances we can’t keep the van.

It will be sold with all electrical appliances. Kettle, electric 2 ring hob, mini air fryer and electric milk frother, camping pop up kitchen & hook up cable. Bedding also available if required.

There are two significant scratches to the body work of the van that could be covered with decals, the scratches were treated at the time to minimise further damage. We have not applied to DVLA for conversion status as from what we understand they are only like to class it as a van with windows and insurers do’ not need the V5 changed to insure the van so we haven’t progressed this.

One final important point, the van is under Hire Purchase and the buyer needs to understand that the funds are used to clear the HP. I will provide a copy of the discharged finance notice within 24 hrs of a successful sale.
