This bespoke conversion was carried out by Murvi – an award winning company in Devon who still operate and are happy to provide consultation and replacement parts as needed. There is a mains hook-up and a separate leisure battery which holds its charge well. 16 gallon fresh water tank, hot and cold water throughout, boiler replaced 6 years ago. Interior lights work on mains or 12v. Diesel powered Eberspacher heating system, and air conditioning (new condenser just installed but needs an electrical connection to function). Great sound system with extra speakers fitted and with radio, CD and Bluetooth. In the main living area a generous sized sofa slides out effortlessly into a comfortable double bed or two singles, there’s a decent sized wardrobe and many storage lockers including large spaces under and behind the sofa and above the cab. There is also a detachable main table and two other smaller tables that hinge up easily. Front seats rotate. There’s a disguised safe under the passenger seat. Windows throughout have blinds and fly screens and there are 3 sky lights. The kitchen area at the back has a 4 ring Smev propane gas cooker with grill, an Electrolux fridge with freezer compartment that charges 3 ways- by gas, hook up or from the running engine, a microwave, food storage cupboards, spice racks, a sink, a draining area and a hinge up surface that affords extra space for food preparation. The bathroom is accessed through either a hinged door from the kitchen or directly through a rear door. It contains a washbasin, a shower which can be used inside or out and has a trigger on the shower head for additional control, a Thetford cassette toilet, a locker containing 2 propane gas cylinders and additional lockers for toiletries etc. There’s a fire safety blanket, a smoke alarm and a fire extinguisher. Outside there is a wind-down Omnistor 500 retractable awning and an electrically operated retractable step. Laserline alarm system with 2 key fobs. Comes with thermal insulation blinds for the front cab, a fitted cover for the entire vehicle and a folder with instruction manuals for all the fitted equipment. We are parting company sadly with this beloved van owing to family health problems. It’s the perfect size for touring – big enough to provide all essentials, compact enough to be comfortable driving through small European towns. We’ve been able to camp offgrid comfortably for 5 days at a time, and the design and appearance means the van is semi-stealthy! He'(he answers to ‘Murphy’) is keen to get back on the road, and looks forward to adventuring with new owners.
