A huge bonus of the conversion is, that I have exclusively used the screw holes of the taken out seats to fixate the bed, floors and electrics, which means the camper can be fully converted back to a 7-seater car without any screw holes, dents or glued components!
I kept all the original seats, seatbelts and screws (+ instructions on how to reassemble them into the car) and I’d be happy to sell them as well for an additional charge.

Disclaimer: I’m selling it at a price that is below of what the base car + the conversion would be worth. This is because the panoramic roof windows currently has a crack in it (see photos). The crack is solely on the inside layer of the glass, which means that the car is still fully functional and waterproof and can still be driven and used as a camper. Nevertheless, this is probably something that needs to be fixed or replaced eventually, which is why I am selling the car and full conversion for only £13,995.

Conversion Description

This is the perfect camper for someone who would like to fully make it their own and keep tinkering with it while already using it for camping trips.

A micro-camper is a great option if you’re looking for a campervan that can additionally be used as a day-to-day vehicle. Micro-campers are easy to drive through narrow streets and you can always find parking when big vans might not fit. It also does not look like a campervan from the outside which can give you an extra sense of security when staying overnight in residential or busy areas. You’ll also be able to park on nearly all height restricted car parks (this camper is only 1.84m high) and pay car tariffs for car parks, campsites, ferries, tolls and so on.

This micro-camper has everything included that you would need in a basic camper and the best part is, opposed to most micro-camper layouts, you never need to leave the car to access any of these. This is extremely helpful if you’re parking in an un-secure area or it is just miserable weather outside. It includes:
– An extremely comfy bed, that you can set up in three different ways, giving you complete flexibility when you are travelling on your own or with a second person.
– A table that you can comfortably sit around with two people (although three do also fit :D)
– A camping stove, and some extra gas canisters
– An Electrical system that is charged while driving, powering three USB-Sockets and a 12V-Socket, as well as a fridge and 4 LED lights
– A heating blanket working off the 12V-Socket
– Two storage drawers
– Insulated & light-blocking Window covers for all windows including the windscreen

I have done a lot of diys and woodwork before starting this van conversion (including building 3 different beds :D), which lead to a fully functional and very flexible build. But I didn’t have unlimited time, so there is obviously still so much more that you could do, if you’re up for some woodworking yourself.

Bed:
The bed has a full 2 meter length and there is still some extra room between the end of the bed and the boot lid, which gives even those with extra long legs enough space to sleep comfortably.
It is extendible within seconds from a single bed (60 x 200 cm) to an L-shaped bed (giving you more space, while still having the fridge easily accessible) and finally to a double bed (115-140 x 200 cm).
I build the bed slighly lower than you might find in other micro campers, as I wanted to be able to sit upright on top of the bed. This creates a feeling of a bigger space and you can comfortably spend longer evenings inside of the van without it feeling cramped. It also makes sitting around the table feel more spacious!

Table:
The table (46 x 57 cm) is one of the more provisional parts of the conversion. It is currently mounted to the passenger seat and it can be folded down to sit flat against its back which means it almost takes up no space. Using the passenger seat controls also means that you can easily move the table further to the front or back and even swivel it so that it is straight when parking on a hill or uneven road!
There is space to mount a lagun leg and table, but I couldn’t justify spending a lot of money on that just yet, while the more provisional table idea works so well 😀

Fridge:
Under the bed, attached with drawer runners, there is a Alpicool G22 Car Fridge. Is fits 22 liters and runs off of the second leisure battery. It can reach temperatures between -20℃ and 20℃ and has a separate ice cube tray holder.
It has honestly been a great addition to the van. It is not huge, but comfortably fits enough food and drinks for a long weekend away and runs super quietly. It has a touch display to control its temperature and cooling mode, but it is also controllable via an app.
It sits in a drawer frame, which means that it slides out super easily, but can also be completely lifted out. This is great if you want to bring some cold drinks or food along to a picknick or similar 🙂 It keeps its temparature for at least an hour in my experience and then only very slowly warms up.

Storage:
There is two storage drawers (53.5 x 40 cm and 53.5 x 65 cm) under the bed. The smaller one currently holds the camping stove and some extra gas canister, the larger one is completely empty.
Additionally, there are shelves above the driver and passenger seats which currently hold the window covers.

Electrics:
The van’s electrical system was designed by Nomadic Energy (by Climbingvan), who made sure that everything would be fully working and safe. I still have their original plans and building instructions that I would be happy to pass on if you want them!
There are two leisure batteries totalling in 250Ah which are charged by the starter battery while you are driving. I got slightly larger bus bars than I needed, so that there is a possibility to add solar charging to the system (Nomadic energy will provide electrical plans for that for free, if you want to upgrade to solar at some point). The whole system includes multiple Victron components which makes it super easy to control and monitor it via the Victron app. (for a full overview of the components, feel free to message me and I can include more details)
The leisure batteries currently power 4 LED lights which can be controlled and dimmed using a remote, the fridge, 3 USB-Sockets and one 12V Socket. The fuse box is easily accessible (see photos), so you can easily add more components to this.

Extras:
The camper comes with some extras as well including:
– Camping stove by Campingaz
– 3 spare gas canisters
– A 12V heating blanket
– A bag full of fuses in case any of them need replacing or you want to add more components to the electical system
– A 240V plug for the fridge so that you can take it inside and connect it to any normal plug socket
– Insulated and light-blocking window covers for all windows including the windscreen
– A magnetic phone mount
– Thule Wingbar Evo 2 roof bars

I have also still got building materials left over including more insulation material, vinyl, a lot of cables and electrical building components, … (I’d be happy to discuss passing any of those on to you, if you want to keep making the camper even better :D)

If you’re interested and would like to come for a viewing, have any more questions or want to see more photos, feel free to text me, message me here or on Whatsapp or call me! 🙂

Beds Description

The bed can be kept as a single bed (60 x 200 cm), extended into a L-shaped bed or fully converted into a double bed (115-140 x 200 cm). The double bed is perfectly fitted into the vehicle which is why it is narrower at the back and wider at the front of the van.

Main Bed Length
200cm
