Vehicle Description

2008 Ford Transit Camper Van – Renovated & Adventure-Ready – 83,889 miles

Meet Susie Dent, aka Big Suse, our beloved 2008 Ford Transit camper van! She is perfect for your next adventure.

Key Features:

Low Mileage: 83,889 miles – rare for a van of her age!
Fully Insulated: Cozy and comfortable in all seasons.
Convertible L-Shape Sofa: Doubles as a spacious bed. Slats fit between shelves and the sofa to create a full sleeping area or transform into a U-shaped seating space.
Power & Lighting: Equipped with a leisure battery (fitted July 2024), USB charging points, and rechargeable lights. – We have a converter for our cigarette lighter to a 3 point plug too.
Storage: L-shape seating has storage underneath. Opposite side features four drawers, a 2 cupboard, and more storage space below.
New brakes and Welding completed (2024)
New battery (2023)
New leisure battery (2024)
MOT until May 2025
Why We Love Her:
Big Suse is perfect for two people but has been cozy enough for our family of three, even with a 6-month-old in tow during a trip to Scotland. She’s reliable and practical.

Additional Notes:
The van has a speed limiter set to 70MPH and drives smoothly.
No warning lights on the dashboard.
The outside of the van looks like a work van so it is very discreet when parking.
Exterior has some scrapes and bumps typical for her age.
Front seats are a bit worn but covered with seat protectors.
The passenger side door can only be opened from the inside – the handle on the outside just needs to be fixed but we haven’t got round to it.
The floor vinyl does need replacing she was used as a work van a few times and the floor ended up being scrapped!

We’ve cherished our time with Big Suse, but our growing family needs a bit more space. She’s ready for her next adventure and will make someone very happy.
