Edith is designed to be the ideal off-grid adventure van for 1 or 2 adults. The van is perfectly liveable with plenty of storage and an electric set up suited for wild camping.
The majority of the conversion is made out of birch ply and finished with details such as live edge ash wood The simple white and blue colour scheme is inspired by the Cornish coastline and is designed to bring the outside, inside.

Kitchen
The centre point of the conversion design. The L- shape kitchen countertops are made out of a beautiful live- edge piece of ash with a sink and 2 hob gas cooker set into the countertop. A CO2 detector has been installed. Under the sink is a 30L fresh water and waste water tank. The tap even has running water! Finally, there is a spice rack and a fridge so cooking up a feat is no issue.
Electrics
One 100w solar panel is fixed on the roof providing power to the battery and then the 240v inverter, meaning you can plug in laptops, phones etc. Other electrics:
– 6 down lighters
– Diesel heater
– Fridge
Insulation
The entire walls and ceiling are lined with insulation and then a waterproof lining to keep moisture out of the van.
Living area
On opposite sides of the pull out the table there are benches for two people to dine together. The larger bench has underneath storage and the other doubles up as a shoe rack.
2 large windows have been installed so that you can enjoy the view of your beautiful park-up and bring natural light into the space, they are also tinted for privacy. One window opens in the kitchen for extra ventilation.
Please note the standing height inside the van is 1.66m.
‘Garage’
At the back of the van there is a large area for tools, fuel tank or things that aren’t needed in the living space.
Plants & books are unfortunately not included but otherwise sold as seen! Baskets and cushions are apart of the conversion.
