Gladys has been a super reliable vehicle and mechanically has never let us down – however there are a few cosmetic issues that we need to mention:

The passenger side door brake bar got snapped in a gust of wind, it does not affect the door use, but will need replacing at some point.

The side sliding door got damaged a year or two ago, which means the door is a bit stiff, because the bottom got bent. We have a new replacement roller arm and rollers (which will come with the VW), it doesn’t leak, but it will need looking at.

She has some small rust patches, but nothing that has ever come up on MOT as a concern.

We are based on the Isle of Harris, but would be happy to discuss delivering to the mainland as we are down in Scotland / North East and York over the Christmas – New Year period.

All in all she is a great vehicle and we are sad to see her go, but hopefully to start life with a new campervanning family๐Ÿ™‚
