Gloria aka Purple Rain is a unique VW High Top T25 Transporter 1990 Auto with stand alone awning included and many extras.

Originally an import from Finland in 1999, hence the sliding door on the offside and mileage recorded in kilometres, Gloria (who has her name on it in two places and Purple Rain written on one side) is a righthand drive VW T25 High Top Auto Transporter with a water cooled 1900cc petrol engine, and was first registered in Helsinki in 1990.
The rare automatic gearbox, recently oiled changed, shows no selection problems. The speedo registers in kph and mph (ideal for european driving) and the mileage is recorded in kilometers, currently at 161,311Km (100,234Miles). Low mileage for her age and generally trouble free driving.
The engine usually starts 2nd/3rd time from cold, 1st time when warm, she runs as sweet as a nut just as you would expect a from VW engine! Comfortable cruising at 65/70mph on the motorway. Four good tyres and a spare, stainless steel exhaust system only a couple of years old. Leisure battery. Steering lock and a copy of the Haynes manual.

We bought Gloria from a friend in 2008. In 2015 Gloria had extensive body work repairs to remove all the rust then resprayed in this distinctive purple. New window seals were fitted all round and a new door cill to the sliding door. After 8 more years she is still looking very good for her age.
Internally, no rips or tears to the upholstery.
