Mercedes Sprinter 313 CDI LWB
All about Yonder, the campervan:
This meticulously cared for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Campervan is equipped with all the amenities to be fully off-grid or hooked up to power on a campsite. With its professionally converted interior, gas-safe certified components, and super reliable diesel engine, this Sprinter, in its condition, is incredibly sort after.
With the view to rent it out on Quirky Campers, I have prepared everything so it’s ready for a hire out business for the new owners, if you choose to do so! Making this van even more valuable. The process entailed a lot of detailed hard work to make sure everything was ready for hire.
I am so sad to sell Yonder, as I designed and built her with great craftspeople to keep her for years to come. But I am off to live in East Asia and so I want her to go to a new loving home where she can adventure with you everywhere.

We have 2 camping chairs for outdoor seating and use of the pull out al-fresco dining table that comes out of the back doors.
Description of Electrical Setup: Yonder has a fully solar powered electrical set up. We normally use a 12V fridge / cool box that run off mains when plugged into an external hook up, or can be run off the cigarette lighter or the power bank provided. Inside the main living space there is one double plug socket including two USB ports. Max 4.1W 5V per plug. Yonder has one lithium battery, an Inverter, and an exterior hook up for when you’re not travelling off grid. All interior lights work off the solar panel without fail, rain or shine.
Cooking Equipment: Along with the sale of the van, there is an option to buy all the things needed for your campervan business or ownership. Yonder currently has everything you could need to cook up a feast, including; a working gas hob that runs of an LPG tank under the van (always full and ready for your adventure from the start of your trip), she has saucepans, frying pans, oven trays, cutlery for four people to eat, hob kettle, cafetiรจre, 4 mugs, 2 stainless steel cups, 4 bowls & 4 plates.
In addition to the two gas hobs inside, there is a contained fire pit with a cast iron griddle pan for cooking on top. There’s also a chopping board and utensils, 3 sharp knifes, a tin opener, corkscrew/bottle opener. Yonder also has a colander, washing up bowl, tuppawares and a dustpan and brush.
Water and Sanitation: Yonder has an outdoor shower, where the water is heated by the sun or by boiled water mixed with a little cold. The toilet is a portable compost loo with saw dust included, along with a toilet tent for privacy, this can be set up inside or outside in any location. There is a 20 litre removable water tank in Yonder that supplies water to the sink via a pump, this is healthy drinking water also. The tanks are situated underneath the sink.
Audio Equipment: There is a CD player and radio for when you’re driving.
Type of Heating: There’s a propane gas heater along with a wood burner. You can choose one or the other but we recommend the wood burner wherever possible, making sure the side door or skylight is open for ventilation.
Extra Information: Lined with marine ply with beautiful walnut cupboards in the kitchen, the wood speaks for itself and warms up the whole space.
Conversion Story: Yonder began life as a white empty work van for a large scale glass windows and doors company up north. I bought her after a long and careful hunt on Ebay for this specific year and model, I boldly got a one-way train ticket up to test drive her which somehow ended up being a first class ticket! When I drove off into the sunset I burst into tears with joy unaware of how much I needed a van like this. Originally from Leeds, Yonder travelled down to Somerset and Cornwall for her conversion which was a gradual process over the course of 3 years, with the pandemic in between! The cladding was done by a master craftsman who was recovering from brain cancer at the time (he’s still doing great) and the solar panels, electrics, heater and burner were all done by an expert called solar panel Simo! The beautiful cupboards and fridge draws were done by Shane at Faulkner Works with Sophie on hand to run to Screwfix and B&Q, put the kettle on multiple times and sand and paint pretty much everything.
Description of Beds: Yonder sleeps up to three people; two adults in the double bed and one child / teenager on the single camp bed that folds down during the daytime, this space can also be used without the bed fully pulled out, for extra space in the living area during the day. Double bed that extends into a roomy Queen sized bed (original bed size: 135cm wide and 160cm long / Extended bed size: 160cm wide and 182cm long) and one sofa area that is a comfortable bed for a small child or enough room for your own cradle (146cm wide and 160cm long). Camping bed : standard single camp bed size. Height restrictions for the double bed when not extended is 5’3″ for two adults (more comfortable for one adult sleeping diagonally when bed is not extended). Height restriction for the small child’s bed is also 5’3″.

However, Quirky have not approved a Gas Safe certificate, a Weighbridge certificate, or the vehicle's electrics. Buyers must check these themselves. For some tips on what to look out for read this.
